Stone Hill Winery is located in Hermann, Missouri, along the Missouri River, in what is called the Missouri Rhineland. It has additional facilities in Branson and New Florence. Established by German immigrants in 1847, it is the largest winery in the state. At the turn of the 20th century, Stone Hill Winery was the second-largest winery in the United States and the third-largest in the world; it produced 1,250,000 gallons in 1900. Its wine had won numerous awards in international fairs, including Vienna in 1873, Philadelphia in 1876, and St. Louis in 1904. Due to Prohibition, the winery was closed in 1920, along with virtually all others in the nation. During this time, the family earned money by using its wine cellars to grow mushrooms for sale until 1965. In 1965 the Held family made Stone Hill Winery the first in Missouri to be re-established. In 2008, wine production was 260,000 gallons. The Stone Hill winery is owned by the Held family, with the property passed down from generation to generation. It makes a full-bodied red wine from the Norton variety, as well as other reds, whites, and dessert wines. Its main building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NHRP).

In 2009 the theater celebrates it’s 14th season of operation, presenting incredible productions to thousands of Branson visitors each year. The venue has an interesting history and has been home to many artists and shows over the years starting with the Braschler Music Show. Years before the Branson entertainment boom, a local man named Gil Elmore purchased the 14 acre parcel of land that the theater now sets on and built a small, ranch style home with a small barn and lived there for 17 years. Mr. Elmore was the Public Relations Director for the Shepherd of the Hills attraction for 29 years and also performed as Jim Lane in the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama more than 2000 times. As the town of Branson began to grow and development on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway increased, Mr. Elmore and his wife decided it was time to move. He said that during the construction of the Cascade Inn Motel next door, “the jack hammers were unbearable!” He sold the property to a Branson area developer named Jerry Crawford and his wife Dee Crawford who had big plans to develop the site. The first phase of the Crawford’s development was to construct the Victorian Village Shops, a two-story complex with office facilities and specialty stores. The Elmore’s ranch home was used as a construction office when the ground-breaking for the building of the theater began in April 1995. Mr. Crawford was a big fan of the Braschler Music Show and invited them to move from their theater on Gretna Road where they had performed for 11 years and open their show in his new theater which was then named,“The Braschler Theater”. The theater was designed with a Victorian flair to match the shopping complex next door. It was faced with brick and had four large handmade columns in the front. It originally held 696 theater seats, but some were taken out in later years to make room for an audio booth in the back of the auditorium as well as for an extension of the stage apron. An accomplished artist named Brenda Murphy was commissioned to paint the lobby with custom wall murals of colorful angels playing a horn and harp. Mrs. Crawford asked they be painted with “discerning faces.” The entire mural project was completed in 5 days.

Just what is the Shoji Tabuchi Show that everyone loving American music is raving about? At its heart is Branson USA's first family of extraordinary musical entertainment....Shoji Tabuchi, his beautiful wife Dorothy and delightful daughter Christina. The family that plays, sings, and dances encompasses all the wholesome values of truly great family entertainment. Yet the show rivals the pure excitement of Las Vegas or New York. With his sense of musical perfection, Shoji searched long and hard for the right professional musicians to form his band. It is with great pride and affection that he introduces each and every member, all of whom have one or more degrees in music. Their repertoire includes everything from country to classic, played with all the subtlety or verve, as the music demands, of a gifted musical organization. The superb dancers are Dorothy's domain. Working with a renowned choreographer, and long hours of rehearsals, she has brought the dance company to a state of perfection that rivals any dance company in the world. Their creativity ranges from dancing with twirling cowboy ropes to lively polkas to dancing the Sugar Plum Fairy danced on toe during a special Christmas performance. Since the days of the Old Testament, song has been an expression of joy, uplifting the spirit. The company's extraordinary vocalists exemplify that joy with lovely ballads, songs of the 50's and 60's, gospel,...all to the toe-tapping delight of the audience. All is showcased in a theatre that is a phenomenon in itself...often called the "Showplace of Branson." Its decor is reminiscent of the grand theatre palaces of the 1930's. Even the restrooms have awed visitors. The ladies' powder room is complete with wainscoting and ceiling reproduced from the 1890's Empire Period. To the ladies amazement, there are live cut orchids at every granite and onyx pedestal sink. Add to all that stained and jeweled glass and magnificient chandeliers! The gentlemen's lounge is no less imposing, with black lion head sinks imported from Italy, black leather chairs and a marble fireplace. The billiard room contains a hand carved mahogany billiard table, a viewing gallery, and a burled walnut mirror that was built in 1868. Exciting musical and variety entertainment in a palatial setting appeals to both the young and the young-at-heart. The Shoji Tabuchi Show is a colossal show in a scenic little Ozark Mountain town...a show that no visitor to Branson should miss. Performances are at 3 pm and 7:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with some Sunday performances and very special shows during Ozark Mountain Christmas. Dorothy Tabuchi and Christina Tabuchi (Select Dates Only). The theatre is located on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway in Branson, Missouri USA.
