This is a bay side beach, with the flat sand and warm water typical of the bay beaches. The water is about 65 to 70 degrees in July and August, and at low tide the water goes out seemingly for miles. You can hunt for all types of sand and sea creatures. The bay is ideal for young children. The beach is about ½ mile down Breakwater Road from the Brewster General Store. This is a town beach, and a sticker is required from 9am to 3pm every day during the summer. For non-residents, parking is $10 a day, $30 a week, or $100 a season.
