We went to historic attractions ( Susan B Antony Home) as well as the museum of science and several local restaurants. We were there for a few days preceding the eclipse in April. There is a lot to do in Rochester and you can get there by car or Amtrak.

Eastman Kodak Museum was great.
Eastman Kodak Museum was great. Walking past all the mansions on East Avenue was even better! The waterfalls were solidly impressive and there were lots of old buildings to admire in the downtown core.

Best advice I can give about Rochester; visit Tony D’S.
Best advice I can give about Rochester; visit Tony D’S. It’s right on the river, has indoor and outdoor seating, and has upscale meals. Nice atmosphere, chic enough for a date, but relaxed enough for family.
Courtyard Rochester Downtown was the best place to stay for visiting Colleges with our daughter. The hotel looks just like new, it’s beautiful
,the room was as beautiful, spacious, confortable, and super clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. We loved that there were lots of places to eat and hang out just crossing the street, also that it had a parking lot for our rented car and an ease ride from the hotel to both Colleges that we visited. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back
The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water but the bathroom was in need of updating. The breakfast was good as "free" breakfasts go. The area had a weird vibe kind of like a depressed city that lost its economic base. Lots of hotels and restaurants that were shuttered. Front desk staff were friendly. It was fine for an overnight
Everyone was so friendly, kind, & professional. This was an unexpected overnight stay but so glad we chose this hotel. Customer service beyond amazing, room was perfect, the hallways smelled so fresh & clean, Bar, drinks, food & staff amazing & great! Morning breakfast staff wonderful & food was great! We will definitely be back!
We wanted to explore the Rochester area, so this was a convenient location. Cozy is accurate as it was small. There was a well stocked kitchen area which had modern appliances and room for breakfast. The living room area was comfortable. The bedrooms were fine for what we needed and the beds were comfortable.
The bed was brand new and VERY comfortable! I have a very expensive high quality mattress with a topper and the bed at the hotel was very comparable.
Room was newly renovated and clean and modern. Very nice room. Excellent value for $119/night.
The place is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and I thought it was good place to stay in Rochester since hotels are either very expensive or bad. There is free parking and a gas station and a great coffee place, Hydra, next door.
There really wasn't much to like since my stay was short lived due to being kicked out from my hotel room I paid for. We stayed for a total of 45mins in the room before having to pack our things up and find a different place.
Everything. You get what you pay for. The price was great especially for what you get. Morning coffee, amazing staff and it's your regular typical hotel but with great location. Literally everything was so convenient.
The suite was perfect for me to have a separate place to work and sleep. I enjoyed the clean bathroom and bedroom. Staff were super friendly and willing to share information about the local area. I enjoyed my stay.
Hotel was easy to find and located in a beautiful part of Rochester. Back patio overlooks the river which made for a very peaceful dinner and breakfast. The complementary BBQ was a nice touch and much appreciated
The staff was extremely friendly at chevk in
Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having regular sized pillows instead of those tiny pillows that hotels often provide. Price was fairm
We had an hour's drive from home to the Rochester airport, so the location was perfect as we had a very early morning flight. The staff was helpful and friendly once we checked in.
