It was a great location and we were able to walk to everything downtown. It was very clean and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed the gliders on the porch in the evening.

The Inn was amazing, extremely well appointed with special consideration to every need.
My husband and I felt truly pampered.
The facilities were both comfortable and elegant at the same time.
Our room was perfect, so peaceful, very spacious. Expertly decorated, the huge sliding glass doors with windows above made you feel at one with nature.
We totally loved the deck, while having coffee the 1st morning, we saw 3 deer.
My husband went for a short hike & totally enjoyed the wide open woods sure the Inn.
The decor was on-point, the owners truly had the perfect vision for their business.
They have a centrally located common area that made you feel like a you were in a spacious mini home.
It had a beautiful living room area, very comfy furniture & and fireplace.
The dining area had a huge table to accommodate large families, then a few single couple tables as well for eat in breakfast.
The Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and well planned. Everything was homemade, high quality snacks were provided as well. They even made homemade cake!!!!!
My foodie husband was in heaven.
We both felt this facility is a perfect haven for both couples and families.
The owners clearly have a passion for service and hospitality.
We will definitely be returning soon.
I highly recommend this beautiful Inn.🩷

Clean and pleasant looking outside. Furnishings were nice and amenities were suggested if you forgot something. Ice was in a room to itself and door was marked.

Wonderful mountain town that was actually featured in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Great place if you want to get away and get a wonderful vibe for the color season and Christmas time. How to recommend the area and highly recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful area, and going for the Gold Rush Days and Burt's Pumpkin Farm are great. Just pick a GREAT hotel, but be prepared to pay an ENORMOUS amount of money for your hotel. All the prices are jacked up because of the weekend tourism. We actually ate in Cummings because alot of the restaurants close in Dahlonega during the festival days.

Dahlonega is a college town, with a nice downtown area.
Dahlonega is a college town, with a nice downtown area. There are many good restaurants to choose from. There are some great shops if shopping is on your agenda. Dahlonega isn't in the mountains but not far from them. It is an hour drive to Blairsville, GA through the mountains and there are several access points into the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest. Helen, GA is not very far from here either. We enjoyed being central to so many different locations. Also there are many hiking trails in the area, most include waterfalls.

We visit this area regularly since my son enrolled as a Cadet at the University of North Georgia. There are lots of varied activities to do in Dahlonega and the surrounding area. We always find new things to try and meet the nicest people during our stays. We look forward to our trips and will probably continue visiting this region even after he graduates from UNG.

Great getaway.
Great getaway. Def do some sort of a wine tour, (we used JBS and Jim and Kristy are fantastic guides) Georgia has surprisingly great wines. It’s also 30 mins away from Helen, which is a completely different vibe and also worth checking out. Cost of trip is budget friendly.
Tons of space, very clean, large bedrooms each w/ ensuite bathroom, there's a full kitchen as well as a BBQ, and the hot tub.. - what's not to like? 😊 The location of the hot tub is great, overlooking a ravine w/ a small waterfall. Also spotted deer across the road at dusk, when sitting on the porch out front. Very peaceful location, amidst the trees, yet so close to Dahlonega. Loved it! Had a few practical questions during our stay, to which the host responded super fast. Excellent service.
Breakfast included was good (eggs, grits, bacon/ham, biscuits). The waiter staff was very friendly.
I asked a woman at the front desk for things to do in the area. She was extremely helpful and went out of her way to show us all the main attractions and places to hike.
Use the stables next to the hotel, if you plan on riding horses. These are the friendliest people we've met and they really care for the horses too (we watched them do it from a distance and then stopped by to talk)
Lauren is the manager and she was fantastic. We were checking in after hours and she sent us a text message clearly explaining what we needed to do. After we checked in, I had a question about parking and at 10;00 at night, she answered me and answered my question. She was fantastic!
The place is right in the middle of Dahlonega. Parked the car and walked everywhere.
We would choose this hotel over any other in the area because of the team working there.
Excellent customer service. Five star, gold standard.
The manager and the whole team could not have been more helpful.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied, delicious.
Room was very nice, quiet. Hotel is in a great location.
The outside premises are beautiful! The location is just right downtown and within a short walk of the town square. The hotel has TONS of potential but they’re in process of redoing the rooms due to new purchase. Most rooms shouldnt be open until they’re fully furnished and new furniture and decor on the inside
Great location, pleasant check-in experience as well as pleasant check-out experience. Room was very nice with sweeping view of mountains behind Dahlonega. Everything worked in the room and there were no noise problems at night. It was very easy to access the WIFI.
Location was very quiet. Lots of space inside the home. Very well decorated. The hosts were really on top of things when needed. Especially for the time of year. Dahlonega was a very nice place to visit. Would definitely come back.
Very inexpensive place to stay in Dahlonega. We were visiting the school and needed a place. It has a pool (unheated) that was a little chilly for the year. But the rooms were very clean with it being an older hotel.
This is my favorite of Dahlonega's hotels. Check in is always easy. They always put me in the backside of the motel when I request it. The rooms are always spacious and clean. All the devices in the room work.
The location was lovely with the hotel sitting up on a hill. The outside spaces were nice too. The dark night sky was a real treat (the hotel should switch their night lights off to make more of this experience).
I absolutely love staying the DSH hotel. It’s convenient to everything in town you are able to walk to restaurants and bars. They now have a game room and I enjoyed the wine tasting. We can’t wait to go back.
My favorite place to stay in Dahlonega. Always clean, park your car, and walk until your stay is over. Super nice, polite staff, easy check-in and out. Can’t beat it.
Was very pleased with our room. Property well maintained.
They have cabins large and small as well as hotel rooms and containers to stay in. Very friendly innkeeper
The location was in the middle of everything. The hotel was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Service was great. Parking was even convenient.
We loved the cabin. It was spacious and clean. Great views and quiet. We made breakfast while watching an amazing sunrise. The location is pet friendly.
