the agents and workers were fun and polite, the breakfasts served my needs and were tasty. Coffee was good as well. Room was clean and comfy. all amenities worked. Quiet area. plenty of safe parking. as a woman solo traveller I felt safe. Walkable to the downtown district and Sims Park.

I wasn't there on a "vacation," so the location (on US-19) served my purpose well. There was a decent sized table that I was able to set my laptop computer on and the Wi-Fi worked well. The pool looked inviting, as did the covered sitting area, and I probably would have taken advantage of both had I had more time. I stayed at the Roadhouse for the low rate offered (which was about half of what I would have paid to stay at other motels in the area) and so in that regard, I have no complaints - you get what you pay for. The facility had two washing machines and dryers, which came in handy. There was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room, which I appreciated.

On the plus side the bed was really comfortable, I slept better than I have in years, but on the negative side no maid service to make bed or replace old towels and no notification of any kind that housekeeping doesn't enter a room that's unoccuppied. I worked in this industry for 25 years and managed Econo Lodges and Super 8 motels, so I know something about the economy sector of the hotel business. This is not what is taught by training personnel. I was always taught to ask the guest what would make it right for them. Sometimes it was just a promise to talk to the housekeeping supervisor or the general manager and other times the guest would want a discount or even a comp night, You did whatever it took, one upset guest can influence 20 prospective guests.MoonUnited States of America - 2.0Scored 2.0

The worst motel I've stayed at in many years. In a state of disrepair. Door locks broken. Bathroom ceiling crumbling. Lobby had several mattresses stacked against the main door area. No breakfast, not even coffee. 2 towls for 4 people. No soap or shampoo. I could go on. Definitely not up to Choice standards. Very disappointingCatherine - 8.0Scored 8.0
The Hotel is just off RT19.
The Hotel is just off RT19. It is in a great location, very many things close by. There are so many stores and Restaurants within just about 1 or to miles. There are 2 really nice State park beaches that are not that far away. Lots of things to do, movies, arcades, and tons of food choices.
