The owner was very informative. Great communication. The place was very comfortable, clean and well stocked (although we didn’t use most of it). Perfect for family that would be cooking and serving meals. The dog park was a bonus.

Hotel was conveniently located on a main thoroughfare, although the signage was a bit hidden behind bushes/trees on side of road. Front desk allowed me to check in early. There were beverages and fruit available all day, if desired. Friendly staff.

The staff had excellent service. Very polite,patient, friendly and kind. Some one was always there to greet us when we came and left. It was my birthday and they made me feel very special and welcome all weekend long. Again thank you for your amazing service you all provided. I'll never forget how great of a time I had.

We have stayed there before.
We have stayed there before. It was obvious they are short staffed and struggling to keep up. We experienced the time before this stay that the rooms were not ready by 3:00. We arrived after 5 and got right in, but there were other people waiting in the lobby.I know help is hard to find in these troubling times. Hopefully that will improve. The bathrooms are poorly lit. It would be nice to see those improved.

It was a wonderful place.
It was a wonderful place. Many places including restaurants are within walking distance. Also, wineries along the Seneca Trail are in proximity to the Hotel. Bathtub was plugged room wasn't swept from pervious guest there was food along the bedside where comforter hangs view of lake was good and sunset need more fire pits should of got a discount on breakfast since it was just a plain brown bag

Through no fault of the hotel, the town if Penn Yan lacked decent restaurants. The view from our hotel room was beautiful and the location was very convenient for touring the many wineries in the area.

We came specifically for the Windmill.
We came specifically for the Windmill. It was a little disappointing in light of how it looks online but we enjoyed the day. We had dinner at the Keuka - good food, good service. Enjoyed lunch at the Penn Yan diner which deserves it's high rating. Loved the shops on Main Street. It was easy getting around. Great historic small town flavor with all the conveniences. Much to see within walking distance. Beautiful lake and park, walking trail, decent restaurants around, boat rentals very nearby. Centrally located if you're looking to tour the Finger Lakes area.
