Great hotel, super friendly staff when we arrived that gave us ideas for things to do and a coupon for the Winston safari drive. The amenities are all super nice and convenient. The room was so comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. The surrounding area felt safe. Nice safe parking lot for our vehicle. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Everything is very clean. Would definitely recommend, would stay longer than a night driving through next time as well.

It was interesting to learn some history about the house as well! Highly recommended ⭐️♥️

We had a nice room , just inside the back (locking)door and a nice little patio , just outside our back door , overlooking the river. Patio had a private table and chairs at our room and several lounge chairs and tables closer to river . If it had not been 104 degrees , during our stay , we would have loved to spend more time out there . Deer wandered all around the area , foraging .

We went to wildlife safari. That was ok.
We went to wildlife safari. That was ok. All of the fast food restaurants had horrible rude employees and people are just not friendly. The only place that was nice was the roller skating rink. I don't recommend visiting there as people are rude.

This town is a dump, homeless everywhere, businesses shuttered, surly shopkeepers, religious zealots and hard right extremist.
The one winery downtown advised us AT THE TASTING ROOM, that they "preferred people who bought bottles of wine". For two of us to taste mediocre wine it cost $30.00, too much to pay for a snooty and rude experience.
I have tasted and bought wine in areas far and above Rosenberg and never been told that the winery only wanted people who would buy a case of wine and not mere tasters.
Avoid Rosenberg unless you have to stop there because you are too tired to go further

Roseburg was an overnight stop for us.
Roseburg was an overnight stop for us. It’s a nice town with a few amenities. The Umpqua River is a beautiful river that meambers through the town and the hotel was very close to the river but no actual access to the river but a nice view from our balcony and even spotted an Eagle a couple times! We ate at Denny’s across the street which is typical Denny’s breakfast fare but their pancakes were very good! If we have need to stop in future travels we would stay at Riverfront Inn again . It was clean, comfortable beds and nice view of the River. For dog lovers there was a dog area .

found a chinese food restaurant - Chi's Garden Restaurant.
found a chinese food restaurant - Chi's Garden Restaurant. They serve large portions and we had to take leftovers back to our room. Breakfast is good too. Won't go hungry before you leave.
If you get a chance, try to go to the wildlife safari in Winston. We wanted to but we were traveling with a dog and you can't drive through with pets. Maybe our next trip we will do that.

The housekeeping staff needs a leader that knows what they're doing. The room next to us was rented out and the window was broken. According to the staff it had been broken for awhile. Spend $20 on each room, paint and caulking would go a long way!

The grounds of this inn include a small river park and the room had a balcony overlooking it. This sets the place apart for a typical midlevel
highway hotel. The room was very spacious clean and freshly appointed. The bath products were high quality and the towels were generous in size and quantity. The front desk staff was welcoming, highly professional and helpful. Full continental breakfast was made up on a tray to take to the room and enjoy on the patio.
The hostess was very helpful. Even though the hotel says no smoking one of our floor mates smelled heavily of marijuana to the point where we were getting headaches and the hostess got us moved into a different room with little to no trouble. Shari’s was a good find as well, try the pie shakes. The gas station also had some great finds and very affordable gas.
Clean room at a price point I was willing to pay. We also valued that they let us inspect the room (supervised) before checking us in. This was our fist time at this hotel and it helped as feel more assured about what we were getting, before committing to it. We saw older reviews mentioning bedbugs, and we saw no evidence of them during our stay.
The hotel is conveniently close to the freeway yet very quiet. The pool area has tables so we enjoyed our dinner outside. The pool/area was clean and warm. The gentleman that provided breakfast was helpful with some dietary needs and they even offer almond milk. We found everybody very friendly and willing to answer our questions.
First off, the staff was awesome. I don't know if the owners or managers, but they were amazing. Offered my fiance a water because it was hot. And didn't even want money for it. The other staff was super awesome. The pool was clean, the hotel was clean and I NEVER can say that about any hotel I have stayed at.
Bathroom was updated, bright and spacious. Room size was generous, parking was easy and breakfast was quite good, really enjoyed the waffles and coffee. I also liked that I could control the room temperature so it was cool for sleeping. Overall it was a good hotel, a pleasant stay!
Room exceed expectations. Property had been totally refurbished. For an old property it was in excellent condition. The property was a great value for a very low price. Did not expect much but was satisfied with the hotel. It is old and not fancy but you get what you pay for!
Breakfast was good first morning. Next morning we woke up without power, so there was almost nothing for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful during the whole stay. The location of the hotel was easy for the needs of our travel plans.
location was good for us- did day trip on hwy 131- the waterfall hwy and then short day trip to Crater Lake.
Room was pretty good for the price-not the best hotel we have ever stayed at but it was fine for what we needed.
The facilities was nice and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel, hands down the biscuits and gravy was delicious. The room was comforting and the amenities was nice.
Rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated off of the interstate enough that road sounds aren't a constant problem. Great place to stay for an affordable night in Roseburg.
Close to freeway seemed like a good idea. Until the staff told us to park in front of entrance due to crime. There are homeless living in parking areas.
Didn’t like anything about the hotel or room.
The hotel is at excellent location. The room was cosy, clean. But the overall feel is little old, which is not a problem for us. B'fast is good enough. Hot coffee is available 24 hours.
Nice renovated hotel. The staff is great and the food is very tasty! Yea, I forgot to say that every kiddo got a free toy when we went down to eat. We'll be back for sure.
This was the perfect spot for our short stay in Roseburg. The small house was perfect for two people and it was close to everything we needed. We would stay again.
