My family has been visiting McCormick’s Creek State Park, located just outside of Spencer, for over 40 years. It never gets old. Any time we haven’t had what we need for our stay at the park, including additional options for dining, groceries, swim goggles, toiletries, we’ve found it in Spencer.

The only reason we stayed there is because it is close to Bloomington and had reasonably priced rooms for the football game. However, there isn't much in Spencer. The Inn was what I expected, but having made our reservation in January, I was disappointed that I was unable to get a king bed.KathleenUnited States of America
