Inn on La Loma Plaza was very authentic. This is a historical building that was a fort, a private home and an inn since the 1990’s. Peggy was very accommodating and made our stay delightful. She is an excellent cook and breakfast was outstanding!

The drive up from Santa Fe and the view of the Rio Grande...
The drive up from Santa Fe and the view of the Rio Grande gorge was exquisite. The church of San Francisco de Asis is a beautiful example of Spanish Mission style adobe churches and the people of the community are wonderful, welcoming, and pleasant. Five Star burgers had great food and a good selection of local beers.

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly
Fun property with all the right "New Mexico" touches. Outstanding, friendly staff. Delicious, homey breakfast. We will definitely be back! This isn't 5-star luxury but very clean and pretty with a nice, welcoming, laidback vibe that made it so easy to enjoy our time in Taos! Other guest were really friendly as well, so I'm guessing the atmosphere has the same effect on most travelers.
No free breakfast, no credit for breakfast in your restaurant at $200 a night. Could have offered something pre-packaged and free coffee. Other hotels offered breakfast. We ate one evening meal in restaurant but would not again as menu was very limited and food not tasty. Taco's in Taos and almost un-eatable. Sorry.
Rooms very pretty. Manager at desk very helpful and pleasant.
Fantastic lodge in Taos. Wonderful staff and the breakfast may be one of the best hotel breakfast spreads I have ever seen. So many options and we even took a little bit to go on our way up the mountain. The room was huge and had more than enough space for all our gear. The hot tub was magical especially with the falling snow. I would 100% stay here again anytime I am in Taos.
The property is absolutely amazing for a getaway. . While still
being close to the Taos Plaza the hotel seems secluded and surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. If available, I recommend getting a room with a fireplace as it adds to the ambiance at night. The daily breakfast is superb and sunsets are incredible.
The outdoor property was lovely and well maintained. Plenty of outdoor seating is provided for gathering or relaxing. Parking was managed well for all those who were staying at the B&B. We brought two small dogs and there was yard space for them to do their duties. Overall, it is a pretty little outpost within walking distance to downtown Taos.
Loved that it feels hidden/removed from the main drag. The inn felt sheltered and quiet—which was great. Beautiful view of Taos Pueblo sacred mountain from back porch of our room. Excellent service. Friendly staff. All-electronic entry was perfect. Room was very clean. Provided plenty of towels. It is a character property.
what a delight! totally surreal, but functional too.
I found hotel Luna mystica on TripAdvisor, wasn’t planning on staying overnight in Taos but couldn’t pass this up. incredibly unique experience to sleep in a very comfortable retro camper. after a day of exploring it was lovely to sit at a campfire and stargaze.
The hotel is old and quirky- full of charm. Our room was in the "courtyard" behind the main building. Our floor was not level. But the room was very spacious & comfortable. We had a real, wood burning fireplace! Dinner at Doc Martin's was excellent. Location in old town is perfect.
Elegant furnishings in rooms- comfy beds, in town and close to everything. Beautiful grounds! Unique, beautiful hotel with southwestern furnishings. we went with our two teens (15,17) on ski trip. They had their own separate room and they loved the place as well!!!
Loved the breakfast opportunity- the employees were wonderful and the food was great! We really enjoyed the location- we were able to park at the hotel and then walk around town with ease. Our room was really spacious and there were no noise issues.
The hot cooked breakfast was delicious and fresh.
The Taos Suite provided the two of us privacy--with one of us sleeping in the living area and the other in the bedroom.
The location adjacent to the Love Apple restaurant was perfect!
Great location, easy walk into Taos. Fantastic breakfast. Really appreciated the hospitality and open access to the common room with drinks, snacks, games and local info. The room and bed were so comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.
the room was wonderful, so was the location and the property: the hotel is situated in a big lovely garden
We wish to particularly praise Mr. Jerome for his welcoming warmth, kindness and very pleasant disposition
