My mom and I went down to Victoria for our Grandson's first birthday. We had a great time! However, the trip was way too short and we could have stayed longer. The hotel was excellent, the staff made sure to ask if they could help us/or if we needed anything every time we were in the lobby. Some of the other guests even helped my mom with her luggage.
Getting around Victoria is rather easy. The folks that live there will gladly give you directions, or you can get a map of the city. There are a lot of cool , historical places to go see around Victoria too, you can't miss seeing those!
I would defiantly recommend checking out Sweet Fountainz Bakery while you are in Victoria or just passing through! Their cakes and cup cakes are to die for.... their cookies are delightful and I am sure their items are just as delicious.

I lived in Victoria a few years ago, so going back to visit the place was nice. The town is decent, but there’s not much to do there unless you have an event to attend or friends to visit. If you do go, be sure to visit Kristin at Indigo day spa!

We came for business , and stayed just a bit longer for fun. Victoria has wonderful shops, friendly citizens, and is centrally located for family fun. the ladies at Baymont supplied a city map and simple directions: the zoo, riverside park, and rose garden were highlights of this trip. All my favorite shops are here, and the ocean is 30 minutes away.

Beautiful historic section of town was amazing.
Beautiful historic section of town was amazing. We ate at The Pump house restaurant . It had been a functiioning old Pump station along the Guadalupe river. converted into a lovely reataurant. To get there, you drove through beautiful period homes from the early days of Victoria. Live music , delivious food, and the ambience was exceptional.

Cindy was so helpful finding us a suitable, quiet room, blankets, getting the TV working....milk for our coffee after a 500mile drive that day.
Hotel well situated close to highway but little noise. On the side of town for Aransas Wildlife Refuge to see the rare whooping cranes.
Close to the main street with multiple restaurants.
Beds comfy and spacious room.
Good price.
Hot and cold breakfast items. Very good.
Very nice, helpful staff.
The staff was amazing. I was traveling alone due to an immediate death in the family. It was an emotional time and the staff made me feel like they had my back and was looking out for my safety and concern. All of the staff was personable and friendly and if I come back to Victoria, I would definitely stay there again!
Not much. There is a bar on-site, which was nice even though the bartender was only there 30 min out of every hour. There was seating for meeting people as we were traveling to see family, but since the hotel was under renovation it was pretty embarrassing to ask them to meet us there.
Easy to find and access. Restaurants and stores nearby. The water pressure in the shower was excellent! There didn't seem to be random people on the property just walking around. Folks that were on the property had rooms at the hotel. The waffles at breakfast were delicious.
I found the location of the hotel very convenient, as it was close to the Zac Lentz Parkway loop, the mall, and Navarro Avenue. The personnel were very friendly. The breakfast was good, and my room was quiet and comfortable.
I did not partake of the breakfast. I departed early because I had an engagement to go to in another area. I am sure that if I had it would have been just as nice as the hotel. the people at the front desk were very nice.
I am a Wyndham Member and before was I was a La Quinta member It is a miracle we got it sorted out I had been there before Hotel okay! Booking information messed up Some may be my fault Booking.com jumped in
How clean and well lit the areas were for parking. How accommodating the hotel was when booking my room online. I was able to get my room near the corner the top
floor. Staff were friendly and very polite.
Nice size room for the price. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Continental breakfast. Easy check-in & check-out. Had a nice place to meet a large group of people. Nice bar area.
LOcation good. Staff always welcoming and great. I've stayed here several times before and it's my lodging of choice. Breakfast is always good. Everything is clean.
