Staff was non-existent. Room was dirty, carpet stunk, chair in the seating area was 100 years old and bathroom door was broken. Overall, I believe the whole building needs to be demolished.

I love the spread out town, and have been staying there...
I love the spread out town, and have been staying there since 1988 while attending the NHRA Gatornationals Championship Drag Racing event. Would relocate to that area if I could land a good job there.

Very pretty town. We found a Cuban cafe that was awesome! We liked the area it was safe and not particularly busy. The springs were very busy with crowds but itself was beautiful. We would come visit the other springs in the future.

We went to Blue Spring.
We went to Blue Spring. Unfortunately, we arrived just in time for a rain storm to begin. Advice for visitors - enjoy it! The only thing you need to prepare for is to cover your car's floor mats, as there is a sandy dirt road on the way in, and more sand at the site. It's a very nice place to spend the day. We went to a couple really nice restaurants: The Great Outdoors, and The Diner (50s theme, complete with a big Elvis to greet you!) We explored the historic district, and it was very charming. Also visited antique stores and thrift stores. Found some really great items at both.

I loved that the bathroom had a wall mounted magnifying make-up mirror on one side, with an adjustable arm for up close make-up applications. The walk-in shower was enormous. But, I think the best part was the complimentary hot breakfast. The best cheese omelets, bacon, pancakes, etc. I've stayed at a LOT of hotels with breakfast included. This was the BEST ever. This room was very spacious.....much more than expected. Hotel seemed new because everything was super clean and tidy ...even the elevators were nice . Breakfast was what we've come to expect but was very nice . Pool area was clean an nice ...I even noticed thar the employees had a whole separate area away from the main building where they could go hang out on break and smoke etc. Very nice experience over all .
