Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham - Kingsland, I-95 & Kings Bay Naval Base Area, hotel in Kingsland

Great value! We had a 2 double bed beautuful, large suite of rooms! Large living room with sectional couch, coffee table and rolling footstool, PLUS sideboard table and wheeled table and office chair. Kitchen with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, 2 burner stove top, microwave, sink, cupboards and dishes, silverware, pans, and cleaning supplies. Full bathroom with large vanity. With a door to shut going into bedroom from other 2 rooms! Great for when someone cannot sleep and doesn't want to disturb others. Large bedroom, closet, folding stand for suitcase, bureau, TV (up high enough on wall so you don't have to prop yourself up.) Really it was like checking into a resort condo! Breakfast area was beautiful with ample comfortable seating. Breakfast choices included: real scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links, grits, myo waffles, bagels, toast, muffins, cereals, coffee and juices, fruit. Hotel sat back from the highway and was very pleasantly quiet. There is an outside pool. But it had lots of leaves in it due to recent winds. Fitness center and computers available and long term stay options too. Many dining choices available very close.

Quality Inn Kingsland, hotel in Kingsland

The Quality Inn Kingsland is centrally located between Brunswick and Jacksonville, just three miles from the annual Catfish Festival.

Staff was kind, room was clean and cozy, and it was good for the value. I have problems with my leg intermittently and the sweet lady who checked me in switched my room from the second to the first floor. I was having a lot of trouble walking. Very kind.

Best Western Plus Kingsland, hotel in Kingsland

The breakfast needs to improve. No original packets of oatmeal. Had to eat ones with a huge amount of sugar . Terrible. The eggs, potatoes were way too spicey for my husband. He did not feel well the rest of the day.

Everyone was friendly beautiful weather and so close to Florida for more beaches Just keep an extra eye on the beaches there are GATORS on them..... and loved seeing dolphin fins and sand dollars all over. The only thing I didn't see was sea glass.

I love Kingsland, it’s a second home to me.

I love Kingsland, it’s a second home to me. I plan to retire and move there permanently within the next year. They have built up so much, that if you're use to city life but want a quiet country feel, this is the place to be. The food is fantastic, too many places to name. The people are so friendly and accommodating. I never knew St. Mary’s/Kingsland was so big. So many little shortcuts that helped me learn the area better. I took a photo where my husband and I first locked eyes on St Mary’s elementary school field. I never say I’m going to Georgia anymore, I say I’m going home!

Right from check-in everything was amazing.. had a small concern for the shower being a little slippery and Allen (maintenance) was on top of it and replaced the mat, which is an adhesive mat, not a throw-down... he also had heavy knowledge of the places to eat and snacking in the area, but don't go to Ship to Shore Seafood restaurant, unless you have a VERY large appetite and an Empty stomach... .. Ms. Babs from housekeeping was very attentive and friendly, keeping the room like new every day... Best Western should Clone these two and sell their services, it's a top notch place to stay !!! We'll Definitely stay there again !!

First off we booked way ahead of time.

First off we booked way ahead of time. Asked for a king bed bottom floor. Were told no at desk unless we go upstairs. We cant use stairs , my wife has both knees replaced and cant do stairs. So we had to take a double queen room. Those matress felt like they were at least 10 years old. Not anything close to a chropractor approved bed. Didnt see any sparkle in this place.

we had a two day booking but on the first day at 11:45 management barged into the room with no warning stating we should have checked out, we was shocked and startled , only gave 80.00 discount, unacceptable, if she had been 15 minutes before it would have been another issue with charges,
