The location was in good proximity to the Soft Crab Festival in Port Royal. It was within easy driving distance of Historic Beaufort. There were multiple restaurants offered to us on a single sheet of paper. We opted for for Dockside, which was easy to get to.

The hotel met our expectations for a decent, affordable place to stay on short notice for a single night as we traveled to Florida. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing special, but no problems. We loved Beaufort, however, and when we return for a longer stay next year we will look for a place with more character, closer to town and in a less congested location.
On average, 3-star hotels in Beaufort cost $126 per night, and 4-star hotels in Beaufort are $213 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Beaufort can be found for $250 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
Beaufort itself is great. It's a small town but getting more and more crowded every day. So, if you want to go, go now. Don't wait too many years. In the city itself, there's not much room for expansion.

It's grown from the sleepy little town it was when I was stationed there late 70s early 80s. Still nice place to visit and the people are down to earth good people. Loved Port Royal & wetlands, downtown Beaufort busy, car congestion, but nice views from the water's edge.

A quiet little town like most cities USA.
A quiet little town like most cities USA. Surrounded by water, lakes rivers, and ocean so there are more than a few bridges to cross. A decent number of hotels, and restaurants to serve all of those who visit this city while attending a week of Marine Recruit Graduation.
At least 20,000 Marine Recruits attend the training there at Parris Island so approximately 2000 family members attend graduation three times monthly so the city of Port Royal, and Beaufort should obtain grants to cater to all walks of life Americans who come to shelter, lodge, eat, shop, and fill up with gas, as often as this for our Military population.
This adds up to approximately 40,000 family members of 20,000 Marine Recruits who visit as a result of ONE REASON, MCRD PARRIS ISLAND, SC!! Quite The Economic Powerhouse I Would Say!!

Beaufort is a beautiful town.
Beaufort is a beautiful town. Please tell me Bookings.com is really serious about paper straws over plastic. They are more toxic than plastic. All the coffee stuff is wrapped in plastic. The soap containers are plastic. Water bottles are plastic. It makes me sick to see the total hypocrisy by Woke idiot managers of companies like Bookings. Will never use you idiots again.

Downtown Beaufort is nice, but it's quite small.
Downtown Beaufort is nice, but it's quite small. There are some decent areas but mostly there's nothing here. You have to drive 45 mins to Blufton for anything. I only go because my daughter lives here, due to my son-in-law is stationed on Parris Island.

I liked the drive out to Huntington Beach island ... pizza joint on the way awesome. Gilligan's restaurant was good seafood. Crablegs, shrimp .......Enjoyed downtown walk around water and shops wish had more time .
We stayed at the hotel for one night and wished we had booked another. Lovely location close to the river front. Staff were great. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage and go out for the day. We were offered a free pass to enter the local state park which we took advantage of as it was our plan for the day. The breakfast voucher was for a very nice breakfast restaurant where the food was excellent. Our room was very spacious with everything one would expect. I would recommend this hotel.
This apartment was in a wonderful location in downtown Beaufort. The bedrooms and baths were nicely appointed and spacious, and the main living are was also comfortable. The unit was very clean. Free parking onsite as well as additional free on street parking. We really appreciated the full size washer and dryer, as we were there for a longer stay. We were also so grateful the owner was pet friendly! I highly recommend this unit if you are visiting downtown Beaufort!
- amazing location, right off Bay Street (the main shopping and restaurant area)
- extremely clean

- complementary crispy chocolate chip cookies at night (!!)
- very comfortable bed
- wine in room (for charge)

- parking right in front, not a long walk to a garage
Very nice quiet hotel.
Good size room with comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast the usual hotel start.
Pool had a great view over the marshes and the gym was nice.
Staff very friendly and pleasant.
Set outside Beaufort, it was a great price for exploring downtown.
The king room with sofa was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed having coffee in the room. The hot breakfast was very appreciated. The location is convenient to both downtown Beaufort and Port Royal. Eating establishments are close by.
Could not eat breakfast in peace because a leak was happening in that area from the roof. The pool and hot tub were closed and the bar was closed. I want a refund! It was a waste of money . It was a cost for breakfast
Nicely located outside of Beaufort with easy parking. Seems to be newly built and is nicely done. The feeling in the lobby was good, and the gym was overall equipped enough to exercice nicely. The BF was fine.
We are building a home in Beaufort so we are staying a lot right now on weekends , this hotel is AWESOME! That’s all I can say great location and great staff !!! It’s the best place in Beaufort hands down !!!!
Loved the spacious cozy rooms. Enjoyed choosing my own breakfast from the menu. Liked the wine and cheese in the parlor and the proximity to downtown. Staff was very gracious as well.
Location was nearby eating places and stores. Hotel indoor pool was small but decent. Bathroom was very nice and pretty designed. Bed was comfortable. Decent stay price wise.
Everything was great. Excellent staff and service. Full breakfast from 6am - 9am. Convenient to all the surrounding areas. One of the best hotel stays I had in a while.
