First room was dirty with hairballs, carrots and construction materials, also no A/C. Second was already slept in and had a whole pizza sitting there. Third appeared to be a little better but then we discovered there was no electricity to the bathroom light, microwave, fridge or tv. The sheets looked cleanish so we stayed because we had been driving for 12 hrs and just wanted to go to bed. I WOULD NEVER return to this place.

I just needed to get some sleep and get back on the road. Getting in and out of lodging, though, can be difficult when traveling with a mobility-impaired individual and cats - lots to get in and out. Baymont placed me on the first floor with parking right outside the door. It was just what I needed and much easier than most. The Waffle House right across the parking lot made grabbing a yummy breakfast far easier.

Worst room ever , old, filthy and not renovated as the reviews mentioned. Bedding was not changed. Looked like mouse do do in bed. We showed staff who brought sheets after begging for them. Then I changed the sheets myself. Floor was filthy and my white socks were toast. Overall a horrible experience. Front desk was unresponsive till my wife said not moving till we get clean sheets and pillow cases.

Night driving for seniors would be difficult because the lightening in the area was limited making it difficult to locate entrance ways into hotels and some restaurants. Poor selection of restaurants Resulted in longer then usual wait times to eat.

The queen bed room for 2 people was way too small.
The queen bed room for 2 people was way too small. The lighting in bathroom was inadequate, none over tub, the light over window seat was inop. Way too small of a room for 2 people, especially for $95. We have stayed at this Microtel many times in the past, but it is not as good as before. Pretty disappointed overall.

Just traveling through. Was just what we needed.
Just traveling through. Was just what we needed. Comfy bed, clean room, and hot shower. Went to eat dinner at Dukes, all you can eat barbecue, very good. Left before breakfast because we wanted to get an early start on our travel, but coffee was ready very early.😊
I am totally impressed by this hotel! :) Everything was perfectly clean. Very convenient location. The tub was really modern and clean and deep. Very quiet at night. Bed is super comfortable. The first floor rooms are very nice. I checked in late at night but the staffs are very friendly and accommodating. I really wasn’t expecting much before I come, but after arrival I felt totally impressed. You can tell that they are working really hard to make you feel comfortable in every way. And they did it! Thank you so much! :)
My husband and I spent one night at Econo Lodge Walterboro on a drive north from Florida. This hotel is an excellent value for the money. Unlike many hotels in this price range, this hotel is being maintained. Two good size beds with clean bedding. Microwave and a small refrigerator. Quiet. No carpet, which is always good : ) Pleasant man at check in. Clean lobby. Simple breakfast with a waffle maker; more than adequate for us. I think the word is out that this is a good value hotel, as it seemed full.
Good location right off the interstate. What was most surprising to me was that there was room service even though I only stayed for two days. I've stayed at way more expensive hotels the past few years and everbody still blames Covid for not providing room service. So a cheap Motel 6 has better service than other more expensive hotels.
Newly renovated rooms, only the bathroom was outdated, but it was very clean, so no minus there. Definetly recommend this Motel 6.
The breakfast was the best meal and service we had the ENTIRE TIME in Walterboro. I feel so bad for that little town right now. Resturants could not accomodate the massive amount of softball teams that came into the town for a whole weekend of softball!
Didn’t get breakfast- we were up most of the night due to drunks trying to get into our room and banging on the door- we left immediately upon awakening. Hotel is located right off the highway- very convenient- too bad it’s so run down
Clean, bug free, man at check In made sure we were safe and secure since we had a bad incident at a different hotel chain a few years ago that has made us feel uneasy about sleeping in hotels.
The location was convenient for where we had to go for work, Restaurants close by etc.
There were great areas to walk your pets which is important in pet friendly places.
Breakfast was good.
That by far had to be the worst hotel and the worst location I have ever experienced in my entire life
And I had been in the military for 12 years. I’ve never seen something so terrible.
The hotel was sparkling clean. The staff was phenomenal-they we’re not only helpful but extremely friendly. The best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in!!
