If you need a cheap motel in this working class part of LA, it's excellent. The staff are supportive and the rooms are nice, large and renovated. Walking distance to a bank and shops. I had to work nearby. The complex is like a fort, with only one gate in and out. I would stay here again.

We were able to check in and decided to valet park the car, as we could walk our luggage up. That was a fail, as stated below, the room key reader was broken. Once we finally got INTO our room, it was nice. Looked like the photos. It was raining, so we did not get to take in the view up at the rooftop pool area. Maybe next time. The downstairs restaurant was nice. The mozzarella sticks and homemade chips were really good! The bedding was the best, super soft and comfortable!
