Guntersville is one of my favorite places to visit.
Guntersville is one of my favorite places to visit. I love walking the trails near the lake while my husband fish. Locals are very friendly. I enjoy shopping at the local thrift stores. Can’t forget our favorite spots to eat. Fire by the river, windzells oyster house, waffle houses, and etc. We just love this town 💕

Guntersville is a great little town on Lake Guntersville and adjacent to Lake Guntersville state park. It's a little like a mix of a southern beach town and a north eastern fishing village. Everything you could need is close by with Publix grocery store and a Walmart so anything you forgot to bring is easily obtained. For natural beauty, the Guntersville area, with roads cutting through high hills with cliffs down to the lake and rivers and abundant forests resembles the area around Gatlinburg, TN. The lake is huge and beautiful with plenty of recreational activities available.

The lake, the food and a quaint church I attended, Henryville United Methodist Church. I was visiting old friends and they gave me the grand tour. We ate at Top O The River. Toured the lake on my friend's pontoon boat. Very enjoyable.

A very beautiful place to visit especially at this time of year when the leaves are changing and as the sun sets on the beautiful lake and river. Looking for an amazing place to eat although a bit on the pricy side is the Top of the River restaurant. The food is amazing and plenty to share. Another great eating place is inside the Wyndham and that is the Aqua Restaurant plenty of food and very tasty. Lots to do or just take a break and rest. A person can find plenty of places to shop or they can just relax and watch the day drift by.

The view of the bridge and boats on the water was so relaxing. There were several eating places, easy to get to , and could order and pick up. Getting around was a little hard at first due to one way streets, but got easier. There were small shops along the streets, wish I could have gone through each one.

Loved that it had a lot of places to eat, which helped with no waiting. We ate at the Waffle House and we were the only ones there, which made it super nice. The place was clean and staff friendly. The Lake was absolutely beautiful to look at and the ball park we attended was exceptional. Would love to go back sometime.
Location was gorgeous! The breakfast was amazing! We had a little mishap with the mini fridge but someone came within minutes to check it out he got it fixed (not the hotels fault previous stayers tore the knob off and the fridge defrosted) once it was running it literally got cold enough to freeze our stuff 🤣 but they were very prompt to address the problem!!
Communication prior to arrival was excellent. Townhouse was very nice and clean and in a great location for visiting the beautiful Guntersville area. We had plenty of room for the three of us. I'd stay here again, and I would definitely recommend!
I loved how cute the house had been renovated. The bathroom and shower were great. Awesome water pressure and plenty of hot water! I also loved that it was pet-friendly, but not kid friendly. Haha. Great location for downtown Guntersville!
The hotel was a nice place to stay if the noise level from the street could be addressed with better construction. The free breakfast bar was okay. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice except for the noise level from the road.
The location on the lake was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, the restaurant where we had our wonderful breakfast was the best we’ve had in a hotel. The staff doing the breakfast couldn’t have been more gracious
I volunteer for an event on Lake Guntersville every year. This is close to where I have to meet staff and other volunteers. It's also the cheapest, as they have not decided to capitalize on the event yet.
The hotel was in a great location by the lake and our kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool which was heated. The beds were comfy and the reception staff were lovely.
