The Inn was amazing, extremely well appointed with special consideration to every need.
My husband and I felt truly pampered.
The facilities were both comfortable and elegant at the same time.
Our room was perfect, so peaceful, very spacious. Expertly decorated, the huge sliding glass doors with windows above made you feel at one with nature.
We totally loved the deck, while having coffee the 1st morning, we saw 3 deer.
My husband went for a short hike & totally enjoyed the wide open woods sure the Inn.
The decor was on-point, the owners truly had the perfect vision for their business.
They have a centrally located common area that made you feel like a you were in a spacious mini home.
It had a beautiful living room area, very comfy furniture & and fireplace.
The dining area had a huge table to accommodate large families, then a few single couple tables as well for eat in breakfast.
The Breakfast was extremely thoughtful and well planned. Everything was homemade, high quality snacks were provided as well. They even made homemade cake!!!!!
My foodie husband was in heaven.
We both felt this facility is a perfect haven for both couples and families.
The owners clearly have a passion for service and hospitality.
We will definitely be returning soon.
I highly recommend this beautiful Inn.🩷
Plenty of places to Shop. We ate dinner at Big Ds but we weren’t impressed. Staff was super friendly though. We were hoping for more touristy type things to do but we were short on time so we just went back to Dahlonega.

Review from a Oct 27th stay.
Review from a Oct 27th stay.
Very disappointed in Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. We arrived on Oct 27th , check in ad was told the elevator was broken but would be fixed in a few minutes, so we proceed to bring in our luggage and figured it would be fixed my then, no it was not after waiting a half hour. We had to lug our luggage to our room only to find another disappointment. I paid for a King room with a Mountain view and only got a half view as we were right over the restaurant. Horrible! I Paid $264.69 for half a view, and it was of the forest! To boot the room was above a mechanical room or something like that because it humm all night!!! The restaurant ! skip that as the food was not that good and the service was horrible. The gift shop was a MESS !! boxes everywhere, t-shirts were all over the place, total mess. This place needs to pull it together, Think twice before booking here !! I will never return nor recommend this place.

I needed a quick place to spend the night while on a long trip. I arrived late and needed to leave early. The wifi was down, no big deal, I wanted to get to sleep anyway. The bedsheets seemed clean enough. The toilet seat had pee on it from the previous guest. The tv channel guide had been sitting in some brown liquid that I hope was coffee. I was pretty tired and fell asleep easily but the walls are thin and I could easily hear people walking up and down the halls and their conversations. There was no breakfast even though the listing said there would be. (Though after seeing the condition of the room, I'm not sure I would have eaten anything anyway.

This hotel was close to the shopping scene in this town.
This hotel was close to the shopping scene in this town. We had two restaurants within a one- or two-minute walk from this hotel. The staff was nice and polite during our stay there. We will stay here again in the future.

The area is beautiful, the Super 8 Wyndham...not so much!! I think if you allow a franchise to be advertising on your site, you should personally check the facility out! Many false advertising with this one!

We stayed on the property of the Amicalola Falls State park, which is beautiful and they have great hiking trails to the start of the Appalachian Trail. The falls are spectacular! We went to Dahlonega for dinner and there were MANY options to choose from (even on a busy 4th of July weekend) and it is a great, quaint town. On the way home (toward Ellijay) we went to R & A orchards and got some delicious fresh peaches.
-The room was clean, with adequate amenities, and the beds were comfortable. (You can tell its an older building that's been recently renovated, and the updates are noteworthy.)
-The staff was kind and helpful.
-The parking lot is well lit at night. (We felt quite safe at all times--both with the hotel and the area in general.)
-The location is very convenient to the North Georgia Revival.
Friendly people. Quiet place to rest and relax. For the price and the other options of hotels in the area this one is as good as it gets. No problems and would recommend this hotel. Clean room, no bugs, no smelly carpet!
