Did not like that they charged me for the room and I never got there. We had a sick dog in our car and had to veer off track to find a 24 hour vet. Not empathy from the gal I spoke with. When I tried to cancel on line they said they had no reservation for me and when I called the next day they said I missed the window.
I have a great big family and will highly encourage them to NOT stay at a Best Western! Also was going to book when we arrived in Panama City, but decided againt using them

Check in girl was awesome! We only stayed from 7pm to 5 am so just needed a quiet , clean, place to sleep with a refrigerator. Shower pressure and hot water was a plus. Breakfast looked great but left before it was served, not a problem!

The HVAC was loud, but did work well.
The HVAC was loud, but did work well. The eggs were poorly cooked and the biscuits as hard a rock, 1/2 the sausae was not cooked completely. The room was extremely clean, the frig was the largest I have ever seen in a Hotel Room, The bathroom was excessively large, the main part of the room was small but sufficent. I would definately stay there again, the location to resturants, and gas stations was excellent for a travler staying over one night.

The hotel was newly renovated, fresh and bright. The room was quiet even though the hotel was older, everything was new and clean. I requested a second floor room on the side away from the highway and that's what I got. It had one more bed than needed but was told they were they were shorthanded and more staff were arriving soon This room was ready and there would be no additional charge. The dining area was very nice and clean, newly furnished. breakfast was very good, better than some higher priced chains I stayed in recently where they did not have Splenda or real half and half! Yes, I would stay again and maybe bring my pup based on the reviews by pet owners as to how clean and pleasant it was for them. PS: Ask the clerk where to eat dinner. The staff was amazingly courteous and friendly. we love being able to have our fur baby, a dog, stay with us. And the bed was clean and comfortable. My husband tried the breakfast in didn't care for it at all and said they ran out of eggs and never put any back out. The carpet did have an odor possibly from all the pets but it wasn't that bad. They should just pull out the carpet and maybe put some other kind of flooring in they would take care of that problem. The only other thing I saw was the top of the toilet tank lid had stains on it which probably could be cleaned but since we don't touch it we just ignored it. It didn't really matter. Athens was a really nice town with some really great restaurants and the people are pretty nice. Beware then a lot of these folks do not know how to drive. LOL
