They could not accommodate us and there were no other open availability’s at the one other hotel in the area. We were there for a competition. I reached out to the hotel with a lengthy email and they were not able to help me other than offer a better rate if I go back to that location only. Which I will never be doing. This was not communicated to me in advance or at the time of arrival. Surprising and disappointing, compared to pre-pandemic standards. Food was breakfast only, quality was marginal at best. And the price was quite expensive for the level of service and amenities offered, averaging over $250 per night including taxes and fees. The room and bathroom both were very clean and spacious. We were across the street from the outdoor mall with lots of stores and restaurants. The staff was very nice and friendly! I requested a room on the first floor and the staff definitely came through with that request. I enjoyed my stay and will stay in Collierville at this exact hotel everytime I come to visit the Memphis/Southaven area.
