Plentiful breakfast. Hot options and good protein selections. Room was clean and quiet. Towels weren’t scratchy. Staff was pleasant. We only stayed 2 nights but we had everything we needed. We came to visit some NASCAR shops in the area and to visit the Hall of Fame in Charlotte.

It was in a quiet location and the bed was very comfortable.. The staff was nice there were plenty of towels in the room. It's an older hotel, and it has some things that definitely need repairs... They need to work on the safety issues like the door locks of the hotel room... Take a visit to the crazy pig in Davidson. Great little bar area and awesome brisket... very unclean and everything in disrepair, you could write your name in the dust, very run down, floors not vacuumed, stuff spilled on the bed dust ruffle (very dusty and dirty), smoke alarm hanging down in the room, tub and bath has rust and the side of the tub had waste on it and, needs paint and repairs, no toilet tissue and I could go on, but I do not have all day. We have a lot of tournaments there and would not let the teams stay there and highly recommended to teams to not stay there.

I really didn't spend much time in Cornelius, I was in the town of Lake Norman for most of my visit. That town seemed quite nice, not what I'd call "quaint", but more on the modern side. I discovered a lovely little bakery in back of the building next to the Good Will. I'd definitely recommend their almond croissants - Bakery 2B.

I liked the location. It was not too far from Concord which has nice shopping areas and not too far from Charlotte. It appeared to be right in the middle. This area has several places to choose from in terms of the eateries...
