This place is absolutely horrible.
This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t send my own worst enemies to stay at this place. It was absolutely filthy. Upon walking into the first room we were given, there was a huge brown stain on the bed. When given a second room to try, the smoke detector was completely missing from the wall, the bathroom was dirty and my daughters room next door to us smelled like weed and had remnants of it on the dresser. The pool was an emerald green color, there was trash all around the property. When we went to see if we could get our money back, the girl at the front desk called her manager and the manager said she’d be getting to work at 11pm to talk to us (it was 9:3pm), and we now needed to find a new place to stay so we didn’t have time to wait 1.5 hours for her to come in. She refused to talk with us on the phone. We asked the girl at the front desk what her managers name was and she said Stephanie, then we asked for her last name so we could call her the next day to get a refund and we were told “she doesn’t like to give that out”. How unprofessional is that, that the manager refused to give her name out. We weee thankfully able to find a clean place to stay down the road. I will never visit this place again and I hope no one else puts themselves through this mess either.

If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount...
If you have kids playing basketball at the rocky mount sports center complex this is the best place. The facility is only about 10 minutes down the road. We got in late and were upgraded to another room.
We got in late and were upgraded to another room. Maybe because someone needed the 2 queen beds. 1 king bed was great for us. Hotel was very clean. Nice help. Even the maids asked how our stay went. More than I exspected. After staying at another hotel up the street many times we decided to try Tru. We will be coming back here in the future.

They were two elevators one was not working and the other one fit three people comfortably, but took forever. Thank God we were on the second floor I just took the stairs. There was a huge party going on with loud music right off the lobby downstairs and the restaurant attached is not part of the Hilton it is privately owned but the food was great. That was the only good thing about this day. We didn’t realize that the filthy room was so disgusting but after driving from New York all day, we decided just to sleep I have pictures that have been uploaded I will never ever ever stay in. It had a nice office for travelers to use. It had a nice fitness area and beautiful pool. It was actually in walking distance. We were next door to a grocery store and there was a gas station and a shopping center on the other side of the highway. Everything is walking distance.
