I thought it was a Wyndham property so we took a chance thinking it might be upgraded. But it was definitely a Super 8 or motel 6 type property. Room was adequate but obvious in upkeep that it was not well maintained or sloppy work in renovations.

Just a quiet place, close to Museum of Appalachia, Norris, the lake, eating places.
We stayed at the Fairmont Inn, and up the hill behind it was a Walmart, and shopping/ restaurant strip. Cute little shops and nice Italian restaurant.

I had made a reservation for a king room with spa.
I had made a reservation for a king room with spa. Upon arrival was told by desk that they didn’t know how I had made that reservation because they didn’t have any rooms with spa since their renovation. They did adjust my billing.

Absolutely falsely advertised. Pool was down.
Absolutely falsely advertised. Pool was down. Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days. No hot tubs in rooms like advertised. Toilet didn't flush. Neither phone in the suite worked. No snack machines. Stained linens. Just absolutely awful. Breakfast was an absolute joke. Still haven't received a partial refund for charging me for amenities they advertise but don't even have!!! I'd of never went there

Be sure to visit the Appalachian Museum.
Be sure to visit the Appalachian Museum. Don’t miss eating at Golden Girls Restaurant. The best made from scratch southern food and that great southern hospitality in abundance!! Will definitely be back next trip!

Convenient from I75 exit.
Convenient from I75 exit. Very nice downtown and historic district.
We were intrigued by the uniqueness and beauty of many buildings.
We loved the antique shops. Much more to Clinton than we expected.
We came down for breakfast at 7 and it was pretty much over with but I feel the reason was the number of guests at this location....but we also know the number of guests was due to the quality of the Wyndham by Clinton...we will definitely be back.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with several choices. Location was near many fast food restaurants and Wal-Mart was within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.
The hotel was just finishing a renovation so everything was new and clean. The rooms and the lobby were spaceous. The front desk staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast was well stocked.
