Room was clean, comfortable but outdated, curtains were torn. Breakfast was decent cold or hot cereal, waffles, yogurt and juice; could have had some fresh fruit.

I didn't really go to Monterey for leisure, I went to make a house call visit for a sick patient and Monterey was the closest spot with hotel availability.
The people were very friendly overall.
The only thing I didn't really like was the lack of any healthy food options. It's mostly fast food restaurants and even the grocery stores had no organic produce or other healthy food choices.

Great staff, they're very helpful with all of your needs!
Great staff, they're very helpful with all of your needs! Rooms are a bit dated but the stay is cozy and very nice! Super quiet as well. I always love coming to this hotel when coming back home to Tennessee.
The location just off the interstate is great. The room was large (single king) and well maintained and stocked.
The breakfast was fantastic--waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins and pastries, bread for toast, yogurt, juice, coffee. The eggs and sausage and waffles were tremendous.
Front staff at check-in gave some options for non-fast food. A good burger grill (at a local gas station) and a sit down Mexican (Los Agaves) just 5 minutes from the hotel.
The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and well maintained. We felt very secure during our entire stay. We were able to make use of the laundry facilities which was much appreciated. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone I know that is planning to visit this area.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure our room request to have our kids near by was met. The continental breakfast offered options for all ages and good for a family on the go.
It was a nice hotel even though it was outdated. Staff was super friendly. Close to a few restaurants and gas station across the street. Very quite area and not hardly any traffic.
The evening clerk was polite while sharing the hotel policies.
It was clean and felt safe. I travel with children and those features are important to me.
