It was a very clean facility. The room was set up so nice. Clean bathroom and shower . Snack bar and pool table set up in the lobby. Hot coffee and tea available in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. 10-15 minutes or so from Va Tech campus.

Room was a good size and beds comfortable. The hotel had some sort of refresh.

Nothing. Our entire stay was ruined as Best Western double charged both my card and my fiance card for a room rented for one night. We had originally booked with booking.com as a pay at the property. Two days prior to arriving we switched the card number to my fiancé’s. When we arrived our confirmation stated his card, he gave them his card, he even checked us in without me. Almost five days later I’m now also being charged for the room. The receipt has both our card numbers and I’ve spent half a day calling my bank to dispute the charge and providing them all the evidence because Best Western insist they see only one charge when we have receipts showing two. Never staying at this property again and wouldn’t recommend it as they steal credit card information. I never gave them my card, we weren’t even supposed to pay at the property. Calling corporate and getting in touch with Booking.com.

Christiansburg is a convenient location from Blacksburg, Radford and Pulaski. It also has expanded to include a lot more attractions and venues locally. There's something for everyone to get into in Christiansburg. Just be sure to dress warm enough in the winter, as it can get pretty harsh.

Christiansburg is a suitable place to stay with lots of choices of restaurants and shopping. It is close to Blacksburg which was our destination. We don’t like staying in Blacksburg which is so congested and long wait times for restaurants. And of course college students are everywhere you go since VT is there.

We ate at Cracker Barrel which was excellent, and we ate supper at a nearby Wendy's. We didn't really visit around in Christiansburg, as we were there for an event at Radford University, and we spent most of our time in Radford.

Christansburv is a good place to go to when you want to enjoy a day or night out. I live in a small town where we only have one red light so we are used to coming this way to go out to eat, to shop an to go to movies. The only problem I have is when the college students are here. There is a lot more congestion with traffic an entertainment.

It’s a decently pleasant hotel.
It’s a decently pleasant hotel. The owner and cleaning lady that is there all the time are very nice and accommodating. I have almost always had a pleasant stay. When there’s issues the owner has usually resolved them quickly and to my satisfaction. The pool is closed and there is no bag breakfast like other hotels have during the pandemic but it is very clean and you can always get helped quickly.

Christiansburg was much larger than we expected.
Christiansburg was much larger than we expected. We were traveling and only stayed one night so we did not see much of the city. We had dinner at Golden Corral near the hotel and there seemed to be many dining options available. Seemed like a place I could visit again.
This is one of the most exceptional standard hotels I've stayed at. The location isn't close to the center of things, but it's just off a highway and convenient to quite a lot of good places to eat. The layout is convenient, and the room and everything in it, as well as the halls and the workout room are spotlessly clean. Bathroom amenities are great. The best two features: 1. It's *quiet!! 2. Staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating, clearly glad to make your stay pleasant and comfortable.
We've stayed at this hotel a few times before. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The pool is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is always yummy; the kids love the pancake conveyor belt machine.
We had to move our reservation due to weather and the staff, specifically Leila, was kind, friendly, helpful, and patient with me. She went above and beyond to help me navigate booking.com customer service (who was not the most helpful).
We love this hotel and will definitely stay again!
Everything was just perfect. We travel on a regular basis between Québec and Florida and it definitely was our best stay. Great location, impeccable, nice lobby...the lady at the front desk recommended a few restaurants for dinner and we ended up at DP Dough which was about a 5 mins drive from the hotel. Great place, good food, fresh and tasty. You should definitely give it a try if you choose to stop by Radford :)
Absolutely nothing. Arrived for our check-in and the hotel was closed. No one on site. A sign on the door written with a black sharpie said temporarily closed due to COVID; however, no one from the hotel contacted me to let me know of the closure. We traveled all day to get there and had no place to stay. It took hours to get it situated!
I really liked the services, cleanliness and comfort that this hotel had to offer. Ashley who is the front desk was really nice to us. She offered us a good breakfast even though it was late. We enjoyed our stay as a family there. Definitely will recommend this place if you plan on visiting Virginia Tech or nearby cities!
Wow. We have never felt so welcome at a hotel or inn. The couple running this historic inn are simply great and they go the extra mile in hospitality. It’s a great location, only 15 minutes from VTech, Beautiful grounds, large and comfortable rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend.
The hotel was great. The team there went above and beyond to accommodate us. My son met us the 2nd day and they conveniently switched us to two queens. The people there were very kind and thoughtful. You can tell they like working with one another.
This hotel is easy to access from I-81. The hotel and grounds are well cared for by a dedicated, proud, and caring management and staff. The price was economy, but the facilities, amenities, and service were better than economy!
I love the location. I’ve stayed at most of the hotels along Tyler Road, and there are only two I’ll continue to stay at when we go to Radford. This is one of the two I’ll continue to stay at.
Great location. Close to 81 and close to Virginia Tech. Cracker Barrel is right next door. Hotel offers free breakfast also. Both good options. Plenty of parking.
Hotel staff and booking.com were on the same page regarding my payment for the room. Room was indeed non-smoking.
Bed was much more comfortable than it looked.
