This is kind of a throwback hippy hostel thing. But it's super clean. Reasonably priced. Nice staff. Super nice hang out areas. Good vibes.

Bishop is a small town that offers a bunch of outdoor recreation. We mainly go for the rock climbing in the area. It is also a great stop if you're headed to Mammoth, June Lake, Yosemite, etc. from the south. It's more or less our home away from home. Due to the small nature of the town, it's very easy to meet locals that you could possibly see on your next visit, and it's easy to get around and to know which spots to get gas and food from. For food, we recommend the taco truck (Taqueria mi Guadalajara), Indiego, and Erick Schat's. For climbing gear, my favorite would be the mammoth gear exchange.

We just stayed for the night on our way out of Yosemite NP. Hard to comment with that limited stay. Getting to the City is easy if you love Sierra mountains. You need a taxi. I would explore Bishop more in future. Nice access point to Sierra.

Bishop is a wonderful place for outdoor activities pretty much anytime of year. I had passed through town many times and finally had the opportunity to to spend a week. I barely scratched the surface of this small town. I would start the day at Pupfish Cafe or Black Sheep Coffee Roasters for coffee and a light breakfast. Spellbinder Books was definitely worth a visit as I found a few books to add to my traveling collection. There are off-road and hiking trails all around the surrounding area, with plenty of camping and fishing opportunities as well. The Laws Railroad Museum is a surprising treat.

I love Bishop & the Eastern Sierra... I come here often and generally come to Bishop for Mule Days each year but have also come for a Pack Trip and also fishing. I love this little town and the ability to walk down the main street to eat & shop... this trip we did some fishing and had great success.

Had a great evening dinning at Whiskey Creek...

Always a good stay with friendly staff and simple...
Always a good stay with friendly staff and simple accommodations that are sufficient to get a good night rest and also make friendships. Super convenient and clean. I would suggest they add a compost bin to their trash and recycling bin area.
It is a really quiet location, just enough off 395 to eliminate traffic noise, but close enough to walk to restaurants, etc. The hotel is really cute and the staff is friendly. It's all one floor, with dedicated parking spot for each unit, so if you have a bunch of junk to unload, it's easy to do so. (plenty of street parking too if you had multiple cars for some reason).
Great room, equiped with coffeemaker, microwave and fridge, clean and nice bathroom, good bed. Friendly staff. We didn't really notice much of the negative remarks other reviews mentioned. Yes, sometimes you could hear your neighbor a little bit, but it wasn't that bad. And the room looked quite modern (we've seen more dated interiors in other hotels).
Perfect place for a stop over on our road trip. The team were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most hotels too. Bishop is a sleepy town that closes pretty early but we really liked the bowling alley behind the hotel and had a laugh there. The gym is decent for the size of the place
They did room service (housekeeping) during my 4 night stay. Surprising & simply exceptional, even costly hotels are skipping that in the pretense of the long gone pandemic era.
The room was spacious, the microwave was old (no digital timer), but worked like a charm.
Room is basic, clean. I like that the motels remodeled during covid and got rid of carpeting and spruced up the rooms a bit. Location is in main street. Ask for a room off the main highway. Much less road noise Request a second floor room also.
Great for a stop over and close to food, coffee and the Bishop City Park. Had a laundry and even though we didn’t fish, they had fish cleaning stations and freezers to store fish. pretty good. Breakfast was decent too.
Creekside Inn is extremely comfortable and relaxing. The property and rooms are immaculate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is also close to restaurants and other places on convenience in Bishop.
Great hotel super clean spacious room located on a quiet side street. Within walking distance to McDonald’s and Great brewery as well as shopping. Decent breakfast bar including you make waffles.
Quaint motel, close to the center of town, within walking distance to everything. WiFi was weak but who needs WiFi when in Bishop? Overall very comfortable…
