Phenomenal philosophy put into action! The plaque on the wall across from the elevator says it all. Too much to write here but basically they put service to people above profit. A novel idea these days. Guests are treated like family and every employee I met made sure I felt welcome.
At breakfast a very kind man brought around a bowl of freshly cut pineapple and served it personally to me. With a big warm gentle smile! That's just one example.

The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. The woman that ran it was very nice and on top of everything. It was probably the best breakfast as a whole that I have ever had at a hotel with continental breakfast!
The room was very clean and had plenty of towels! The beds were comfortable as well.

Rolla is a bit happy with the round abouts.
Rolla is a bit happy with the round abouts. Over all it was easy to get around and for what we did in rolla itself all was well. We primarily slept there and ate evening meals. The rest of the time was spent on float trips and vacation activities outside of rolla

For a traveler; bed comfort is EVERYTHING.
For a traveler; bed comfort is EVERYTHING. If a hotel can't meet this basic need, then I'll keep searching until I find on that does. And if you pay for an upgrade-the hotel should make sure they fulfill it.

Very easy to get around the town.
Very easy to get around the town. There are many places to eat. We ate at Colten's Steakhouse and it was very good and service was good. We were there for a weekend to go to antique stores. Will be going back again.

Quaint little town which we have very briefly stopped at before in our travels but we chose to spend the night here this time and hotel was deeper into town, deceptively decent sized for a small town. People are friendly as well.
The breakfast was mediocre, very basic. I was hoping for a more upgraded breakfast.
The breakfast was the same as comfort suites which was a lower scale hotel. And also the plastic forks and spoons were cheap, hard to cut the waffles.
Staff was very friendly. Happy hour in the evening with free pop, beer and wine. Limit 3 one the alcohol. Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and bagels. Rooms were extremely clean and quiet. Large area to exercise your pet
Most comfy bed we have ever had other than a 5 star hotel! We stayed here 9 years ago, also when in MO. Most places seem to go downhill over time, but this was the same as we remembered it. New beds were a plus.
