I really like the Garden here. It is beautiful with sunshine all day. It has tables, springs, very relax. Car parking is very special because you can park just behind of your room. The only thing is the breakfast too simple. It is better with eggs at least.
Nestled among the scenic hills of Marin County, the Best Western Novato Oaks Inn is ideal for all travelers.

Staff at front desk very helpful. Limited services but such a convenient location with excellent restaurant next door for room service The king room very special but had to move to smaller room not so excellent I was delighted enough that I rebooked and became a best western member

Room was nice and clean. Very spacioius. Staff super friendly. Close to everything. No problems with request for a later check out. Breakfast and Dinner menu items were fantastic considering not a regular full fledge restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend the French Toast with Strawberries and the Avocado Toast...both very well done in Bistro style. TV in the room is GIANT for a hotel. Rates for weeknight not bad either for the area.

Nice and clean, not a weed or piece laying around. Well maintained, room was nice, bed was comfortable. Slept like a baby. Definitely going back again

Location. Close to downtown and places to eat. Enjoyed driving out to Point Reyes.
This all-suite Corte Madera hotel features an outdoor, 10-person whirlpool, and suites with a 42-inch flat-screen TV. The Golden Gate Bridge is a 15-minute drive away.
This hotel is a great value! It's not fancy but it's clean and they are working at updating the rooms. It's close to Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods and downtown San Francisco but it's far enough away that it feels safe and it's very affordable. There wasn't much for breakfast but the breakfasts aren't great even at the hotels that have a lot of offerings for breakfast. We ended up stopping to eat at the Marin French Cheese Co. and highly recommend it.

It's a small town surrounded by hills and beautiful landscapes. It's full of Ma and Pa's businesses. It's relaxing. Sit at the lounge and have a coffee, You'll feel that time just stopped. It's laid back and in contrast to a crowded San Francisco, just 30-minute drive. Proximity to vineyards and wineries.

Perfect for those who don't want to be in the city but convenient enough to visit to San Francisco. And convenient to visit the wine country of Sonoma and Napa Valley and go a little further north to see the tall redwoods forest.

This stay was rather pricey.
This stay was rather pricey. Although clean and generally acceptable, there was only a very basic room/facilities.
On the positive side, breakfast was nice with many options. Restaurant next door, Perry's, was really fun and we went twice.

An interesting downtown area.
An interesting downtown area. Met some very nice and helpful folks. Was disappointed that the American Indian Museum was closed but no advance notice of same. That was my primary reason for visiting the town. Apparently they are remodeling. I found the Novato Historical Museum instead. Talked with several helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staffers. Two ladies recommended a good place for dinner, Grazies, which was very good.
A “happening” downtown on Saturday night. Felt safe walking from and back to my car for dinner.

Should say first off that I has intended to camp out the night I stayed here, but tent camping in Marin is a pretty sad affair as far as I can tell.
The good: Staff was helpful and friendly, and value was OK because of the very low price (under $100 including tax). The room was spacious and seemed to be in working order.
The bad: Motel is located next to working RR tracks (maybe 30 yds from the room entrances), TV is maybe 24", but did have HBO. The "balcony/patio" seemed to be about 8-10 sq ft and may not have had a door leading to it.
The ugly: the mattress may have been just springs wrapped in a heavy sheet. Also, it appeared that the front door had been forced open with a large pry bar at least once in the past.
Overall, it was an inexpensive, clean, and indoor place to sleep for a night in an area that's generally less affordable, and that's really all I needed at the time.
Safe well-lit parking lot, clean updated rooms with quality construction, good wifi, safe location and hotel for single woman traveler. Breakfast buffet had good options, there was an outdoor pool, a reading nook with books to borrow, and computers for printing out boarding pass. This was nicer than a usual Best Western in my opinion. Easy on-off to 101. Good pillows, good room temp, good bed! Very pleased. Nice sized fridge in the room as well.
Staff is courteous and accommodating, the grounds and rooms are clean and the service staff is friendly and professional.
Great value for a wealthy area - they could charge more and still be affordable.
I appreciated their consideration. I hear from staff that the owners are good people who don’t micromanage and treat everyone respectfully.
Diversity in staffing is also a plus.
Near everything, Smart Train & Buses
I really like this house . The area is very peaceful and the house is very spacious . You get to experience wild life saw different animals like turkeys . Deers and raccoon my family really love the open nature this house was great love the scenic views
Very, clean and well appointed. The price was extremely good relative to the other area hotels and the check in staff were friendly. This is the second time I've stayed there, separated by about two years, and both were great experiences.
I liked the pool, the view, the air.
Enjoyed having a fridge and a microwave in the room.
TV was great and walls were thick enough so that sound wouldn't go through between beds.
Being 6 min away from downtown Novato was GREAT too 👌
View from room overlooking open space, hills, forest was pleasant and calming. Very little car traffic on road next to hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to highway and downtown Novato (even by foot).
It was a very decent hotel in an area I felt safe. Very friendly staff, nice and clean. Of course you are going to hear outside noise, but overall great place to stay!
It was good to see that economies ( towels, daily cleaning, etc. )were part of the hotel’s operation. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and welcoming.
I loved this hotel. My room was spacious, and the staff were wonderful! I was able to jog to a hiking trail, and even had a bit of a view from my room.
