The rooms offer as much light or curtains that close out all lights depending on what your need of lighting is.
"The room was very clean. It is worth mentioning." "Comfortable bed with four pillows" They had all the comforts of home. They offer a waffles, coffee, tea along with a few other items. "The mountain views is breathtaking early morning. At night a little campfire like setting with lights and chairs for a easy setting for songs and marshmallows as you wind down for the evening with family and other guest. Perfect way to end the day. As a local myself and knowing other hotels around Jackson this is the best overall hotel.

We enjoyed the Deluxe Bungalow during our stay over Thanksgiving. The room was warm and cozy. We were able to have a complete dinner in the room as it has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room table. We also enjoyed the fireplace and deck. The new owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were a little slow on responding to request, but always came through. Cute little historic town, seems there are more shops and...
Cute little historic town, seems there are more shops and restaurants open on weekends, and most things close around 4 or 5pm - even the ice cream shop! Eat at Saluti's if you like Italian. Eat at La Esmeralda if you like Mexican, don't let the shopping center location deter you! Next drive into Amador City.... very cute! But definitely on the Fri-Sun!!

Bed was small,will request a different room next time. Very nice room but I'm a big guy and the bed wasn't a Queen. Mel's Diner across the hwy was as good as it gets. Old town never disappointed with the shops and the walk.

Lots of fun little shops to go into in the historic downtown area. Friendly people and it was easy to get around. Also had a good abundance of thrift stores to poke around in too. For a small town it also had some bigger stores like Ace Hardware, Joann's, Grocery Outlet, that we weren't expecting to see, especially so close to the historic downtown. All windows were open for airing out the room even though we arrived at night, which we appreciated. The windows were modern double-pane glass so the room heated up nicely. This motel was one of a very few available around Jackson i.e. on that side of Highway 88.
