Everything. I want to give praise to the evening crew of René and Jayden. Jayden was awesome who drew us a map of the place and set up a fire pit with René. They went above and beyond. The food was great.

Enjoyed the water view , the balcony in our room (234) was horrible - not a full balcony , we paid for full balcony but that not what we rec'd. I felt we should have been reinbursed the extra cost of $100.00 for the balcony - they offered $30.00. The ice bucket was never cleaned from the the previous guest I had to clean and dispose of the melt ice ??? On our first day there, our room was not made up , I was told that we had to request service - which was not previously mentioned , and the last day when getting ready to leave the bathroom lights blow out so we have no electrity . At check out the young girl, never ask us how our stay was or said Thank You for staying with us. Very Disappointed . We ate next door at the Crab Deck Food was excellent , service was great

    The location was perfect.

The location was perfect. The Winchester is a lovely home tucked away in a quiet setting with incredible views, but still close enough for day and night outings. Our visit was to recreate the fun we had as kids on Eastern Shore. This trip did not disappoint. We fished, swam, and played on the water. We ate local corn, watermelon and steamed crabs (that we ate in the crab room) caught that morning. Best place for total R&R or as much fun as you please. We are definitely going back!

Stopped here on our way to Ocean City.

Stopped here on our way to Ocean City. Came in late so went straight to our room which was clean and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised the next morning when we went on the patio for breakfast and had a beautiful view of the bay! We were also interested in biking the Cross Island Trail and were able to get on it from the parking lot. This is a true gem of a hotel!

Easy to get to off Highway 50, however, we had highway side and it was very noisy from the semi-trucks downshifting all day and all night. Our air-conditioning was broken and made a loud noise all night, couldn’t change rooms because on the weekends all of the rooms were booked. They also didn’t change our towels like we asked so we had to go down to the lobby and get our own.

There is plenty to do in this small town, whether you're looking for a night out dancing, or a quiet quaint dinner with you significant other, there is fun for everyone. Great day excursions and nightlife. No driving needed, shuttles provided to most places or simply walk. Family friendly boating town.

The hotel was dirty. The lobby furniture visible dirt on upholstery. Evidence of no regular cleaning,no sanitizing on surfaces, lamps, same in room. Value was extremely poor with cost 3 x more than appropriate. Pictures of filth in room taken. Only three tables in breakfast area with one table broken. People had to stand to eat their breakfast.

An entire slab of bacon (eggs, croissant) for breakfast! Gas fireplace with blower was lovely. Comfy furniture and bed. Owner stopped in to see if all was well and point out where things were. Very clean and well-stocked! They thought of everything! And extremely quiet. A wonderful alternative to expense hotels nearby.

All of the front desk and dining room staff were excellent. They were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find, soundproof from the heavy traffic, in a excellent location to many seafood restaurants and trails. We literally said to each all everyone was so nice to include hotel guests and staff.
