The size of the hotel. It was big and accommodating. The internet was good and I was able to order uber eats no problem. The ease of checking in and out was fine. Everything worked. Shower, elevator, beds and the like were fine.

When I booked the hotel I said I wanted one with breakfast and a hot tub. No breakfast and the hot tub was broke. No pillowcases on the pillows. I bought some at Walmart. Up half the night because of noise. I paid 152.00 for this stay. Rip off.

It's been 5 years since I was in Topeka.
It's been 5 years since I was in Topeka. Perviously, I lived here for more than 10 years. I was shocked to see how many restaurants had lowered the quality of their food. There were a couple of places where the customer service was very good but, overall, employees seem to be aiming for the lowest acceptable form of service. Why is it that the Walmart employees can be so friendly and helpful while most stopped caring? The only restaurants that served a high quality product was a place called The Blue Moose and the Longhorn Steakhouse.

Check out the Evil Knievel and Harley Davidson Museum - if you were a fan at all! The Capital is a beautiful and great place to visit as well. The Kansas History Museum, once done with remodeling is also another worthwhile stop.

Our reason for going to Topeka was to tour the State Capitol building which we try to do in each state we visit. It was a lovely building! So glad we had a chance to see it on a self-guided tour.
The young man at the hotel had recommended Iron Rail Brewing Company for dinner and it was great! We each had a flight of local beers which we enjoyed. For dinner I chose BBQ brisket and ribs with coleslaw and Texas toast and my sister had the grilled cheese with brisket sandwich and fries. Delicious!

We were only there for 1 night.
We were only there for 1 night. We met with Rocky Mountain Collie and Sheltie Rescue to pick up a dog. It was convenient, the location was quiet, because it was off the main drag in a business park. We got carry outs from Panera's. Our dogs (x2) were able to stay with us.

Great place to visit.
Great place to visit. Come with a car or rent one, shopping and other things to see are kinda scattered around the area. I used lot of UBER and I have to say Topeka has the friendliest most helpful drivers I ever met.
My room was extra clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom with lots of towels provided. I may have had a special room, because there were grab bars in the bathroom with a fold-down seat and a spray wand. Breakfast was great: Waffles with hot syrup, eggs, really good link sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereals, and lots of flavors of Activia yogurt. The desk service was great. My view was a lovely field with pretty houses in the distance. Excellent stay!
I had almost given up on staying at Motel 6, since my last 2 stays. I ended up in a room on the ground floor and it is on a busy street so there was a bit of road noise. The room itself was fine. I liked Topeka, and I might even move to Kansas. It is easy to get around.
I really enjoyed all the different area my family and I could sit and hang out at outside of our room. And the location was perfect. Close to everything for shopping and food! The room was spacious enough for my large family at a responsible nightly rate.
Loved the location it was right downtown across from some wonderful restaurants and art galleries. The rooms were gorgeous and the whole aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and a pleasant surprise to find in Topeka Kansas.
It was ok option when you travel by car from east coast to west. The hotel is a bit dated, but clean, and is fine for a single night. Breakfast included, comfy bed, not too noisy.
Large clean room, comfortable bed, good shower (loved the shelf space!), soft towels, long desk, strong wifi. Miles at the front desk was super helpful—he’s a real gem!
A/C broke. 95 degrees in room. Staff was rude. No sleep all night after a long day. Then, a month later no one has contacted me from either this hotel or Wyndham.
