Friendly staff, renovated room, small fridge and microwave in room. coffee in lobby was pretty good - although I would have preferred oat milk or fresh milk rather than creamer packages. Access to fitness center.

The staff was friendly and everything I will say was good. The only thing I really had a problem is with the Booking ,Com I will not ever use them again. I rented a car and they gave me a full size car and I asked for a mid size car. So the added 20 dollars a day to the car that I did not ask for. I had to wait for an hour at the air port before we were picked up for the rental. The entire trip was good it is just the booking . com was the problem and they were dishonest.

Pikesville used to be a great place but now it is in the ghetto... the "hood" where you don't want to be. This hotel was a great place 40 years ago... today it is a roach and rodent infested flop house for the lowly among us. Stay away from this place at all costs. The name Howard Johnsons used to mean quality... I was so disappointed... I couldn't believe HoJo's allowed this place to use it's name.

Filthy room and has nasty staff. Itchy rough towels.
Filthy room and has nasty staff. Itchy rough towels. Sketchy neighborhood around the hotel and no room service. No one answers the phone at the front desk so you're forced to walk through the sleazy hotel grounds to the entrance for the front desk. Then you encounter a family living behind the front desk.

Barely got room service so I bought my own supplies
People were smoking and practically living in the gym.
They didn't hold the money for the stay. They just completely charged me on a random day.

The hotel needs to be shut down.
The hotel needs to be shut down. The grounds were unkept as well as the room. The carpet, bathroom and room was filthy. Curtains were falling down, the doors off track, holes in the walls partially patched and bug infested. There were half filled bottles of shampoo etc.. I expect a full refund. The staff was rude as well. A lot of controversy-arguing with the customers - very unfriendly.
the bed was comfortable, and it was mostly quiet during my stay. The room was initially well stocked with clean towels. Breakfast was not bad. Some of the cleaning staff were caring and attentive. Of the 3 people rotating desk duty, one was super competent and professional, maintaining a standard that used to be one of the best things about this hotel.
Nothing the carpet throughout the whole hotel even the rooms are filthy ragged chair ,holes in the wall dirty tub, shower curtains, dirty, fixtures loose in bathroom no chain on door, refrigerator dirty, window curtains dirty ,out side parking lots trashy, No breakfast
The lady at check in was very nice and tried to fix what she could. The price was ok.
There was a target right next to the hotel. The hotel is right off of the freeway. It was 10 minutes from where we had to go.
since the choice in Pikesville is between this and a sketchy Ramada across the street, this is clearly the better choice. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the breakfast in the restaurant is above average
these pictures. have. to be from another hotel was terrible not kid friendly smelled like piss ! holes n the walls ect this place should be shut down if you ask don’t take your kids
