Modern clean and comfortable
We only stayed for 1 night basically a place to sleep for the night. Didn't have time to use the pool or gym.
Breakfast was adequate for this type of hotel scrambled eggs, bacon. Mini spinach fritattas, hot oatmeal bar, cereal selection. Bakery items with coffee & juices
I would stay here again

We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only stayed one night at the hotel. We would have liked to stay atleast 2 to 3 nights but had another engagement. The swap meet was great, my husband restores military HMMWV'S so we were on a mission to get parts. It would have been nice to wander around more, next time!

Hagerstown is a great place to stay when visiting Antietam battlefield. Additionally, it has great facilities for doing laundry and stocking up on items depleted during an extended trip. The choice of restaurants is excellent as well.

Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown.
Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown. Just stayed the night in town as we were coming from Harpers Ferry and were going to see Antietam National Battlefield the next day. I wish I'd taken the time to explore downtown Hagerstown. The architecture was really cool!

An old town with a lot of character and history dating back to the 18th century. The downtown area a a thriving A & E district with lots of unique dining and drinking available. It is the county seat of Washington County, yes that Washington and home to a particularly delicious local food staple that can only be found in this area. You'll have to experience this for yourself. The locals call it a "steamer". Just one of many delightful surprises to behold in Hagerstown.

I went there to see a play at the Washington County Community Playhouse. The play was great. Everyone there is very friendly & accomodating. Food was good. I went too the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum. They don't have a lot but what they do have is interesting too look at & learn about. They have an engine, several cabooses & some cars & other items outside. They have the last trolley to run in Washington County MD outside their museum. They also have a gift shop. Very friendly folks.
This is my third trip to the Hagerstown area and the 3rd time I ended up at this Travelodge due to disastrous accommodations booked elsewhere. It is always clean. I can smell just a hint bleach in the linens and the towels. I like that they have no carpet in the rooms, so I don't have to worry about allergens trapped in the rugs. They have a decent size refrigerator and microwave. The beds are firm, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and polite.
We usually stay at a different local hotel, but have now stayed at the Hampton Inn twice. It has a nice assortment of breakfast options, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, spacious bathrooms, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate station, and friendly and helpful staff. My husband now says he prefers the Hampton Inn as our primary layover choice when driving up the east coast.
The hotel manager, Shy, was nice but she promised to call me to offer a credit on the room and never called. Night manager, Path, was not helpful. He didn't know how to operate the computerized check in process. When I complained to him about the room and hotel conditions he said, "So what do you want me to do? Talk to the manager." Not much to like about the hotel.
The location is excellent, and my room is always clean....always clean. My neighbors are very loud late at night. That is my only area of distress. The staff is always so polite and easy to respond to. It is so appreciated. It is one of the reasons I continue to stay here. I am on a travel assignment and this motel works for me.
Our room was quite large and very accommodating. The bed was more comfortable than any hotel bed that I have slept on. The breakfast was also great with eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, etc. The friendly staff made our stay excellent. I will return to this hotel if I am ever in the Hagerstown area again.
We always stay at this hotel whenever we are in Hagerstown. The front desk was understanding when the key didn't work the first 3 times, she just changed our room.
