I might be bias because I have family living in Merrick.
I might be bias because I have family living in Merrick. But as for mine and my boyfriends first trip to Merrick it was great! You can see a lot of the town by just taking a brisk walk around the block. If you do visit ROMA PIZZA IS GREAT! Went almost everyday for our stay. No sense of adding comments when booking!! I added that my father and I are handicapped and need a ground floor room. I even called the hotel after I booked to make sure we get ground floor. I was told to ask about it upon check in. While checking in they told me they were booked and gave us a second floor room. There is no elevator!!!! We had to struggle every time we had to go out. If I would have known this from the start and knowing there was no fridge or microwave I would have canceled and found a different hotel.Joyce - 2.0Scored 2.0

Luaten merrick is nice. But gateway needs a makeover the location is great but gateway NOT first of all they gave us a room that amelled like someone went to the bathroom in rhe middle of the room.
