I loved the view of our room and how nice and clean everything was and I appreciate all the people who were working because even when they were super busy they still were so very nice and helping and they were all respectful and caring and I’ve never stayed at a hotel with that generosity

We came in on a stormy Saturday night and were very happy to have the kitchenette available so we wouldn't have to go out in the rain. The bed was comfortable, room was clean and had space to sit and eat. I always wonder about location and safety when I pick out unknown lodging- this was close to stores and restaurants and within walking distance - I felt pretty safe. Breakfast on weekends consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage and the usual waffles, bread and cereal- not sure about breakfast during the week.

The room was clean, the beds very comfy. Easy to check in and out. Continental breakfast was typical hotel fare, but it was hot and fresh. We had a quiet room, away from the main highway. The hotel, itself, is very accessible from the main highway, close to shopping and a variety of restaurants available. If we didn't carry on to relatives the next day, we would have stayed longer.

Absolutely lovely city.
Absolutely lovely city. By 8:00 a.m. the first morning there, after a UI Hawkeyes game, the whole of Iowa City and Coralville were clean and free from all evidence of the evenings festivities. Spotless!
Without a doubt, the cleanest city I have ever seen in 73 years of traveling the country.
You will quickly become a foodie here! Enjoy…

My main reason for being there was to visit relatives and deliver Christmas gifts. I ate my evening meal at Monica's because they have a separate gluten free menu, and the food is great. I had no trouble getting around the streets. It is close to Interstate 80. You can sleep in late because most businesses I was interested in visiting did not open till 10 AM.

Someone should have told us that the hotel was on a railroad track and train whistles would blast at us. Staff should have moved those loud kids and family to a ground floor room. However, the saving grace would be the nice breakfast they put out. And the coffee was fantastic.

Was expecting to pay cash upon on arrival like there page stated that was a lie then worker wasn't willing to try to help in any way so we could stayed tonight [Sunday] so we had to head back home after being unable to get another motel very disappointed plus being lied to not being allowed to check into the room until after 5 pm when the room we reserved day clerk unfriendly not helpful didn't care that we had to leave when we wanted another night
Traveled here with the whole family for my student to visit the University of Iowa. Hotel was short drive to campus, rooms were clean and had everything we needed, staff responded fast when we needed a light bulb and a plunger, breakfast was fresh and had what we wanted. We used the pool and the fitness room every day. Close to walking paths by the river. We expect to stay here again when we visit over the next four years, especially considering the price.
Great location in small community of shops, restaurants, hairdressers, coffee shops etc. We had to find a hotel at short notice to extend our original stay as our daughter had an accident. Ryan, Michelle and Née on the front desk were very kind and professional. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It is a lovely hotel with great staff.
The front desk staff was polite. There was a wide range for dinner options around and close to the hotel. About a minute from the highway. And two gas stations near by.
Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean as was the eating area for the breakfast. Nothing fancy for breakfast, but it was salifying.
The room we stayed in was small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable and we were thankful for that. We also liked that it was quiet in our room, and we couldn't hear much traffic and/or people walking down the halls. We felt this hotel was more "sound-proof" than others we've stayed at.
The property is the crown jewel of lodging in the Iowa City area. It has incredible potential when staffed and maintained properly. The room was great, the interior of the property was immaculately clean, and the comfort of the beds was amazing.
Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfy TV would not get reception at all so we watched a blacks screen most of the time. Other then that very satisfied with my room.
Beds were comfortable. Was easy to find. The front desk girl was more than accommodating, helpful, and pleasant. Breakfast was good, pretty much like breakfast at most hotels these days.
