Nice town to stay in between the Ohio boarder and MIS.
Nice town to stay in between the Ohio boarder and MIS. Nice selection of restaurants, shopping, gas stations, 7-Eleven, saw several banners that said Welcome Race Fans! We ate at Aubree's and had a fabulous pan pizza. Also ate at JR's Hometown Grill and Pub, had a great Filet.

We were using Adrian as a base of operations to help our niece install a large garden in Clark Lake, MI. Clark Lake is very remote and has no hotels so we decided to stay in Adrian, 25 miles away and commute each day. Adrian is a college town. For being in a rural area there is a wide variety of dining options. The food choices were plentiful and reasonable in price. We ate at Fiesta Ranchera Mexican restaurant one evening. We selected combination plates; the food was excellent, as was the wait staff and margaritas. Another evening we ate at Culver's. We don't have Culver's in the Metro D.C. area and we love their burgers and frozen custard! A tip for unfamiliar diners is that Culver offers several varieties of cheese for their burgers. If you don't see it posted, don't hesitate to ask. We shopped at Meijer and picked up a variety of food/snack/drink items that are not readily available where we live. Definitely worth strolling through the isles.

We have visited several times as our son went to college here. Its a good location if you want to see the other sleepy towns around the area, such as Irish Hills. We go to Chateau Aeronatique Winery for bands and entertainment often. When we do we stay in Adrian.

Adrian was a smaller town than I had thought it was going to be with small town feels. There is a college there, some really cute parks, the hotel I stayed in (Carlton Lodge) was wonderful. The people were friendly. Southern Hospitality isn't really a thing in the north, but I think that all the people I had to talk to were great. They have a good variety of places to shop and eat.

It is NOT a place to visit except our grandson lives in Manchester, which is a beautifully quaint town. Adrian is in the boonies and I would suspect that I would never have a need to come here save my above statement.

Well the town is restricted due to covid.
Well the town is restricted due to covid. Its the failing of the governer of that state and maybe the mayor of the city but the bright spot was the spotted cow im sure there was others but the banana splits there were huge and tasty so my review of the city should only be just my view maybe after covid ill visit again im sure its a great city with lots to offer once things get back to "normal"
I have to come to Adrian often and have stayed at every hotel here. Super 8 HAS BEEN THE BEST THIS
TIME AROUND!! No irritating worries, which has left me the time and privacy to get done what I've needed to! Clean, spacious and extremely comfortable! 5 stars--will stay here again!!!
Hotel is under renovation. It seemed there was only 1 staff working and they could not keep up with demands such as extra linen, towels etc. Elevator broke and we had to carry all of our luggage down 3 flights of stairs (3rd floor family of 5)
Friendly Staff , hotel looked like it was being renovated , our room reflected that. Hot breakfast was really good . No issues during our one day stay . It's a small town so it was Close to restaurants and stores , very convenient.
We did not utilize the Breakfast services, but the the room was very clean & the beds were very comfortable and we also Enjoyed using the gym. We were there for my son's visit to Adrian College and the location was Perfect.
