We didn't do much in Groton. We went to surrounding towns like Ithaca and Cortland. There were many good places to eat within about 20 minutes of the Inn. Getting in and out of Groton was very easy.

Our B and B hostess directed us to The Caboose when we asked where we could get ice cream. Wow!! It was amazing, especially the Red Solo Cup Sundae. That might sound mundane, but it was anything but…….

Groton is a quiet little village between Cortland and Ithaca. It has a restaurant offering pizza and Italian food. There are two dollar stores and two gas stations. We were able to walk to all for little necessities but if we stayed longer we would stock up in the villages/cities nearby.
