Williamstown is a lovely college town in the foothills of the Berkshires. It has an active art scene with The Clark Institute, The Williams College Art Center, and the Willamstown Theater. It is nearby North Adams and the MassMoca Art Center, Pittsfield's Barrington Stage Theater, Tanglewood, Lenox, West Stockbridge Theater, and the Norman Rockwell Museum. Lovely New England college town. Outstanding museum (Clark Art Institute), the reason for our visit. Very limited fine dining options on a Monday night; ate at Pera and highly recommend it! Very limited reasonably priced hotel/motel/B&B options.

We love Williamstown.
We love Williamstown. We have a long history of attending Williams and having family live in town. Our granddaughter now attends Williams so we go down from Burlington, Vermont every chance we get (which was not much during 2020 - Pandemic Year!). Their room overlooked the pool and beautiful backyard with horses on the other side of the fence. A big plus was the fantastic water pressure for taking showers, so they told me.
