    Platteville is a working class small city in Wisconsin that includes a branch of the University of Wisconsin usually associated with training teachers. The city is not particularly attractive, but, if you are a “Platteville parent” you will have a pleasant place to visit with nice people. Not a bad way to spend weekends/game days, etc., the next four years.

    I grew up here so it was a bit of a nostalgic trip for me.

    I grew up here so it was a bit of a nostalgic trip for me. Travelers should definitely experience the revitalized main street, city park and mining museum. Steve's Pizza is still going strong and as good as ever!
