Beautiful property right on the Salmon River. Amenities were exceptional. Staff were wonderful. Food is excellent. They had lots of extra touches for the eclipse. A bit high priced but we expected that because we were there for the eclipse.

We stayed at the separate building from the main lodge. Location and access was excellent as was parking.
Internet was very good in the hillside unit we used, separate from the main lodge builiding.
Check-in management staff and cleaning staff were very courteous. This was a very good experience overall.

This country resort serves as a great place to stay to experience the area of the Salmon River. The newly updated room was very clean with super comfy bed. Self serve breakfast is a real plus. The owners are caring and attentive. The fire pit and outdoor grill to use made this basic but very wonderful spot a great place to feel like home whether you are fishing or hiking in area or doing quad riding. I hope to return.
Pulaski has a great location for exploring the state forests...
Pulaski has a great location for exploring the state forests on the Tug Hill as well as the parks of the eastern Ontario shoreline. With that said, parts of the town are run down and closed seasonably when the fishing winds down. Best areas are out on Rt 3 along the lake. The heavily increased snowmobile use of the local state forests have really increased for the worse since I first visited. Figure on noise and fumes. There seems to by no policing of snowmobile speeds by the state, but hey they spend money at the local gas stations of which there is no shortage in Pulaski, and must get a pass. You cannot get off an exit of Route 81 into Pulaski without being routed through the entire village center to get back on 81; must be a 1960's strategy to help the economy. Be advised police hand out a lot of speeding tickets on this village stretch to also help the local economy. In an age of carbon consciousness NY state should redesign the exits to reduce traffic through the town, but Pulaski economy = fishing+gas+tickets.

There is a waterfall and you can go on trails that lead to top and bottom. On 7753 NY rt 3 Pulaski ny is a market formerly called hillside market. It was place with various vendors and could get some food and people very friendly you got to check this place out.
I liked having a fridge, and it was a great location with lots of opportunities nearby to explore the outdoors. We reserved a room with 2 beds, but the place wasn’t busy and when they learned I had two kids with me they generously upgraded us to a room with 4 beds. We only used two anyway because my youngest child wouldn’t sleep alone in the unfamiliar environment, but it was a very nice gesture and my kids did think it was “luxurious” (their word) to have so many beds to choose from. LOL!
The proximity of the hotel was up on a small bluff just steps away from the water. Our room was clean and very big. It even had a fireplace. We also loved the fact that it was dog friendly.
Room was clean. The staff throughout the hotel was absolutely amazing. Hot tub looked amazing and the firepits were great on a cool night. Loved the outdoors theme.
