Grand View Resort, hotel in Holderness

Located in Weirs Beach, a 14-minute walk from Weirs Beach, Grand View Resort provides accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

We had a terrific stay. The owner was cool and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we were staying in one of the cottages. I guess I didn't understand the room descriptions that well. Anyway, we stayed in one of the older cottages. The shower was a little low for my husband's height, but it didn't bother him. The owner told us that they were replacing the older cottages next year. The newer cottages will have taller showers. The cottage we stayed in was still great. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was pretty quiet the nights we stayed. The views were beautiful and the heated saltwater pool was lovely and clean. The resort was in a good location locally. The location also made it easy for us to explore other parts of the state. We'd stay here again. Thanks!

    Love Holderness.

Love Holderness. The town is much bigger than you would expect. We would have spent more time at the motel enjoying the beach and Kayaks, dock etc. but It raIned the two days and three nights we were there, so we spent much of our time in Meredith and Moultonborouh. We stayed at the motel before and loved access to the lake, Kayaks, swimming etc. this time our stay was after Labor Day and the facility was not well staffed. Would we stay there again? ... probably but we would sure talk to the motel talk with the owner and not book on line.

We only stayed there because it was convenient to the event we were attending, otherwise I would never stay there. If you want to disconnect for the rest of the world Holderness is the place to go, No cell service. Watch out for the speed traps.

Nice, comfortable motel for our family of four. Loved having our car right outside our room and the sweet breakfast restaurant right there. The reviews are correct: the people are lovely. We came back drenched after a lacrosse tournament. The owner not only wrung out and dried our sopping wet picnic blankets, but folded them back into their pockets! You can see that they enjoy what they are doing and are making a real effort to make a fun place. Great area!

Michael and Erica were such welcoming hosts. They made you feel so comfortable and at ease the minute you checked in. The breakfast was truly amazing, fresh eggs and fruit and cooked to order by Michael. The rooms were clean and so cozy. The guests all shared in the warmth of the hosts and engaged in easy conversation. Exactly what you are looking for in a B&B. Bravo! We will return.

the breakfast location was fine, the food itself was below expectations. the food seemed like it was store bought/frozen and then warmed. the exception to this was the 3 egg omelet which was really not done very well at all, again not real eggs, seemed like liquid eggs from a container not farm fresh eggs I would've expected from the Manor.

The breakfast the first day had eggs, pancakes, sausage, fruit, dry cereal, donuts and muffins. On the second day it seemed to be whatever was leftover from the first day. There was apples a couple bananas, dry cereal, coffee and mixed coffemate creamers. It would have been nice to have been consistent so you know what to expect.

Breakfast was not as good as I hoped. Sitting down in dining-room-type space with more menu options would have been preferable.
