Nice room. The kitchenette is a really nice bonus. The location for Door County is great.
The staff was great. We stayed to tour the finger, and hoped to do Washington Island. If you plan ro go to Washington Island be sure to head out early. The ferry runs every hour and for 2 people with a car it's about $58. I wanted to go to the Lighthouse on the smaller island, but that ferry only runs every 2 hours. Just mind your time.

Algoma is a sweet little town we love to visit- is there a lot going on- no- that’s why we like it! It does have concerts in the park and recently cruise ships come in every other Thursday and that’s fun to watch and brings business to this lovely town. The crescent boardwalk is lovely. Algoma is close to door county and the vistas around the area are beautiful. We try to go every year!

Algoma is a fishing and boating community town on Lake Michigan, and crosses a river. It is a very nice town, good local food, and they've invested into a huge water front. It felt welcoming, would definitely stop there on my travels. It was getting late, and we were looking for lite food and ended up at the local A&W for carry out and a walk to the beach.
Its worth a note - the people at the A&W were super friendly and accommodating. A shout-out for their smile and enthusiasm. Seeing we had a dog with us, they gave her a biscuit and came outside to say hello.

Nice, quiet area. Boardwalk along the beach.
Nice, quiet area. Boardwalk along the beach. Nice little diner downtown - closes at 8 (was cash only). Went to Bay Beach in Green Bay and up to Sister Bay the next day. Algoma right in the middle. Took pizza for granted back home - could not find near here.

Shops open around 9:10 AM in the morning in the fall and calls early around four 5 o’clock except maybe one or two that might be open till 7 PM as there’s not many visitors in the fall and winter. Such a beautiful quaint little town on Lake Michigan what a gem Kewanee Port Washington other places on the way up or nice but there’s something about Oklahoma that makes a differenceFishtail our house had amazing YN card dinner good drinks friendly people Palazzo coffee shop had amazing breakfast and coffee again great people walk along the boardwalk at sunset is beautiful
This was the perfect place for our overnight anniversary trip to Door County! The room was small, but cute and CLEAN! Super easy self check-in with simple to follow directions provided. Grace was very responsive thru text. The hotel was booked but barely heard anyone else. And the bed!!! Super comfy and the pillows were awesome! Location was great-close enough to DC activities without DC prices. And did I mention my #1 criteria when booking a hotel room-it was clean!!! Highly recommend!
Don't be fooled by the size of the rooms. They are comfortable and very well kept. Close to Algoma downtown. Unique check-in experience where they text you your room numbers and you can just walk in to them. Rules are mentioned on a laminated sheet of paper, placed on top of the microwave. 11 PM onwards are quiet hours which we were violating and the owner gave us a rather not so friendly reminder about it. Guilty 😅
Absolutely beautiful breakfast and lounge area. Pool was great too. On-site grill was great to have if you didn’t feel like beating the crowds on a busy Saturday night. Beds were comfy and our daughters had their own to sleep in-no need to share in the family suite, so nice! Algoma is a nice town and not too far from Door County which was our main destination for the weekend.
The room was very clean. The staff was friendly. There is hot coffee available 24/7. Breakfast pastries were good and plenty there. Beautiful little beach with fire pits and chairs. I’ve machine was nice. Refrigerator was nice and cold. Variety of tv channels. Overall, a great place to stay in Kewaunee County.
The location next to the lighthouse, downtown Algoma, and the beach boardwalk was great! The guy who checked us in was very friendly and let us move to a room with a great view of the lighthouse.
The architecture of the motel is awesome and cute. There is a walking distance to the downtown, Algoma. There is awesome coffee machine (keurig) in the room. The TV has a lots of channels.
My second time at this hotel, did not fail me to book again! Clean rooms, quiet location and just of the beat and path. I’ll be back in the area and will stay again.
