Breakfast was good and had a variety of foods. We were on the first floor which was really convenient when traveling with 2 children. The room was a good size, a bit snug near the end of the bed when you have 4 people in there trying to move around.

perfect for the eclipse. The parking lot allowed me to not have to travel to see the eclipse. It was awesome that I was even able to get a room within a few days of the eclipse, having totally changed my plans about where to be.

Great staff, and location is great. I asked for rooms to be together since I got 2 rooms. They put us next to each other but unfortunately they didn't have an interior door. The beds were okay, but the pillows go completely flat. Breakfast was decent. There are plenty of parking spaces and carts to use.

Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. There's also quite nice restaurants that are not chains or overpriced nonesense. It's small, but cute. Lots of cool antiques too

Have nothing bad to say. Would have liked to stay longer, but one night was all we could afford. Just shopping for xmas. Could get hotels at a cheaper rate, but we have absolute confidence in the Hampton Inn chain for cleanliness, and nice hot breakfast.

Plattsburgh was great as a stop on our way to Lake George. Our 2 night stay was more than enough to explore the town, hike around "Point Au Roche" trails and take a day trip to Ausable Chasm. The place we stayed at Americas best value in was very disappointing the room we booked the shower didn’t work then they gave me and my husband another room and the ceiling was falling apart and are door was hard to close…. The purpose of our trip was to rest before we continued our way to South Jersey. However, we DO love this area and wished we have stayed a bit longer. Plattsburgh is the last big city before entering Canada to the north. It is a city located near Lake Champlain. We recommend this area for anyone who is seeking tranquility.
