I previously stayed here for 3 nights and this time I stayed 2 nights. It was just as I expected and I was very pleased. This is my go to place to stay when I am in the area. The staff is lovely, the view is amazing, and it's extremely convenient to have the kitchen facilities in our room. It's located fairly centrally to all the areas I needed to visit on this. The value was good for high-season.
The value was good for high-season. The owners were very conscientious and maintained the motel nicely. It is a classic mom-and-pop place. Low on frills, but a nice jumping off point. We spent the evening at a local park listening to a swing band. Dinner was at a local Thai restaurant (great ginger ice cream!).
