We have been there before and like the community.
We have been there before and like the community. I really thought the population was higher than it is because there are quite a number of options for services, restaurants, shopping and other amenities.

Nice little town. Can walk everywhere in the down town area.
Nice little town. Can walk everywhere in the down town area. Shopping, variety of eateries, play ground, beaches, tennis courts. Museum. Beautiful view of the lake. Ate at Jimmy's for breakfast, service and food was good. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the Chase, and the price was very reasonable, and there was a view of the lake!
Kids enjoyed walking up and down the hallways in the hotel, quietly! Swam in the lake and the pool. Visited the candy store on main street!
Played on the play ground near down town.
June and her staff were awesome. The location was great and the privacy was nice. We had a jacuzzi room, was very spacious and well equipped. We liked the outdoor space for coffee in the the morning and to relax in the evening’s. The continental breakfast’s were very good also. The pool and hot tub area was very nice also. There was coffee and tea in the lobby area, we didn’t even use coffee machine in our room.
We came to Walker, Minnesota for the Gabriel Iglesias show. The hotel had great amenities. We were pleased with the pool, water slide, hot tub, vending machines and complimentary breakfast. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was easy to find when coming off the highway and there were nearby gas stations and grocery stores. The hotel staff were very kind and they even allowed us to check in early.
The lovey peaceful location on Leech Lake is perfect for a quiet getaway. We love riding our e-bikes and the best part of the property was the guest garage where we stored our bikes. We could ride straight out onto the Mississippi Rail Trail each day. The quiet trail extends many miles in both directions! To fuel up for our rides Sandra cooked fabulous breakfasts each morning.
The hotel is very clean with modern rooms. The AC was very cool. We had our dog with us and they gave us a ground level room very close to an exterior door. It was very convenient for us to walk our dog. The breakfast included with our stay was above average. They had eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal l, bagels, toast. Yogurt, etc.
We had the « best » room in the house overlooking the gorgeous serene lake. Great sunrise from the room. Fantastic breakfast. Hosts beyond friendly. A short but wonderful stay including a sunset canoe ride.
Thr rooms were spacious & comfortable. The trail mix bar, coffee bar, & continental breakfast were all fantastic. Friendly staff. The hotel was clean & easy to get around. Highly recommend!
Location and ambiance were great... not the cleanest hotel, but had a history, like to explore when there is more time and the leisure and recreational part is in season.
