My husband and I were staying at this hotel because of the room block for our cousin's wedding. This hotel is very clean. So clean, that I could smell the cleaning products used! Overall the room was average. The bed was ok, but the real issue was the pillows. My husband couldn't sleep...which kept me awake most of the night. Upon check out I spoke with the staff about the pillows.. they made a note of it and gracially gave me a discount off of the room rate. I was happy about that. What I'm happy about is that my husband was in so much pain the next day that he had to see a Dr. My husband had to have a reallignment done - all because of these pillows - just awful! « less

The sad part is that we are in the process of updating all the rooms with new pillows for a new standard that came out with Holiday Inn Express. We hope that you do give us another try if visiting the Milford area again.

I stayed at this hotel for business and was a little concerned about it because of some of the previous comments, but was pleased to arrive and find that the construction was over and the hotel was newly remodeled.
As I just mentioned, everything is new and functions very well. The air conditioning was controlled by a wall mounted unit and worked perfectly, something pretty rare in most hotels of this price range. The room did include a refrigerator and microwave and a nice flat screen TV with (I think) HD channels. The fitness room is equipped with new equipment and the pool and hot tub area are very nice.
The staff were very friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was pretty standard. We did have a meeting room for our event and it was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone else and plan to stay there again. « less
