Stayed one night while passing through the Chicago area. I was given a quiet forest-view room, as requested, but the air conditioner rattled so much, it was impossible to sleep. The room was clean though it smelled strongly of bleach/chlorine. A bulb was burned out over the sink, and I was not aware that the club chair was also a recliner -- the Hilton booking site lists a chair and ottoman which I had anticipated after a long days drive. Finally, the bed was lumpy and too soft. I should have contacted the front desk when I arrived or during the night but I was just too exhausted to address any of my concerns. At check-out, after sharing my concerns, I was promised an executive floor room upgrade for a future visit but I rarely travel this way. Also, the gorgeous forest view could be improved if the multiple plastic bags hanging high up in the trees were removed. « less

Didn't get a chance to go to the pool, but it looked great, and I would love to come back another time to enjoy it. I would definitely stay here again. « less

This hotel was much nicer than I was expecting. There were water glasses provided during our conference session, which I appreciated. The rooms were also very nice. There was some initial confusion with my group of rooms because I was paying with 2 checks for 4 different rooms, but they were able to make it work without any headache. The food that was provided for the conference was varied and tasty. « less

Was meeting my wife at hotel. My flight was delayed and hers got in very late. She arrived at hotel first, past midnight and was told she could not check in without me as reservation was under my name. Was told to wait in lobby until I got there. Finally let her check in after she asked for a manager. Room had a disgusting and overwhelming artificial orange smell. Yuck! Would avoid this property at all costs! « less

This is the ONLY hotel I will ever stay at in the Northbrook area. The rooms are always clean and neat. And, the staff is WONDERFUL - they always treat me like a princess when I am there to stay. I love going back each time. The front desk is always very welcoming and made sure on this trip that I had what I needed when I got stuck in the area for three additional days due to flooding in IL. The bell service team - what a great group of guys! - they always ensure I get to and from work and start and end my day with great conversation and a huge smile. The food service is wonderful - whether in the restaurant or room service. Thank you Northbrook Hilton team for always making my travels just a bit easier and always more enjoyable. « less
