We intended to stop at the Charleston, WVA Red Roof because we stayed there last year, but unfortunately, we missed the exit :). So we drove on another hour and stopped at the Parkersburg Red Roof. We weren't disappointed. The room was nice and clean and our room had all the amenities you get at more expensive motels. We had the frig, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron. The place was quiet and restful. Even though it is pet friendly, I didn't hear any barking so the rooms appear to be pretty soundproof. We'd stay there again. « less

It isn't easy being away from home for so long, but everyone from the front desk to maintenance, housekeeping to management, make you feel like you are at a second home! Alotta rooms an alotta channels on the TV Room was clean and so was bathroom, was a little musty but clean , don't think any one had stayed in the handicap room for a long time. We took it since my wife had recently had her knee worked on . bed was comfy A/C unit and heater worked well. fridge microwave coffee pot , what more could you want. « less

We have recently added new flat panel televisions to all our rooms, to go with the "alotta" channels. We just replaced carpets and bedspreads in our universal (handcap) rooms.
