I am a transplant candidate at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Ky, but I live 4 1/2 hours away from the hospital. I had to find some place to stay while undergoing strenuous testing and long days at the hospital while so far from home. I was very fortunate to come across this location. It is a very nice, comfortable place to stay, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. I was able to sleep well. « less

The motel is clean and comfortable and a great price...right next to lots of restaurants and shopping. My problem is that my toilet was stopped up when I got to the room and would not flush. I went to the lobby to find the manager lounging on the sofa in the lobby. I told him that my toilet was stopped up and wouldn't flush. He looks up at me and says "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him that I thought he might want to know about it so that it could be fixed. He then tells me " I have a plunger, I'll give it to you." I just turned around and walked out the door and went back up to my room. I am NOT paying $71 for a room and fixing a toilet myself. The manager never did come to my room or send anyone to fix the problem. He was not concerned at all. « less

Room was very nice. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room was supposed to be non-smoking. It had been smoked in before, because it smelled of smoke. I woke up very stuffed up. Also, there were melt holes on the comforter. Not the greatest bfast. Small pool. Hot water and shower were GREAT! « less
