Our baseball team booked this hotel for a weekend tournament. Not one of the ten families staying complained; in fact, I received many thanks for finding such a great property. The location is central and easy to access from 290 or 35. The property seemed newly redone and there were plenty of spaces for meeting and hanging out with one another. We will definitely be booking this again when in the area. The only negative thing I heard/experienced was that the breakfast buffet wasn't kept hot. Those who came later to breakfast ate cold eggs.

Property Description

The Holiday Inn Austin Midtown is conveniently located at the intersection of IH-35 and Highway 290 East less than 10 minutes from Downtown Austin and 3 miles from the University of Texas. The hotel is just one block from shopping at Highland Mall and Lincoln Village and there are 10 restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, and a full service Gold's Gym within walking distance of the property. The Holiday Inn Austin Midtown is newly renovated. Some of the rooms feature compact refridgerators. All rooms feature a large work-desk with ergonomic chair, irons, ironing boards, coffee makers, hair dryers, coffee makers, two-line phones, high speed internet access, flat screen HD TV's and a balcony. The Holiday Inn Austin Midtown features 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that conveniently divides into 17 different meeting rooms including the 8,000 square foot Hill Country Ballroom.
