We stay here often when we visit family in the area and it is consistently good and friendly. The rooms are clean and well kept and the lobbies are clean and neat.
The staff works hard to make certain you enjoy your stay. They are always asking how you are doing and if there is anything they can do to make your stay better.
They must treat their staff well and it is nice to see and visit with the same faces each trip. Barb, Maria, and Jason are a pleasure to talk with.
The breakfast is typical Hampton fare. The breakfast area is spotless.
Overall well worth the money if you are in the area. « less

There were so many nice little touches - towels folded in special ways, etc. Shows me that the staff takes great pride in the hotel.
The plant in the room was a nice touch, even though it wasn't real!
Road construction added a few extra miles to our trip from the east. « less

This Hampton Inn has become my home away from home when I am in the Mentor, OH area about 12 times a year. There are not many hotels who from top to bottom know what customer service is and provide a truly welcoming stay. The owners are so genuinely nice and add that extra special touch that many hotels forget to do. The rooms are standard Hampton Inn quality. In the morning they provide a great breakfast with a large assortments of continental choices, along with hot breakfast items. I always grab some hard boiled eggs and fruit salad to go. The fitness center is mainly cardio with a bike, couple of treadmills and an elliptical machine. They also have a indoor pool and jacuzzi. It's close to the freeway and located in a retail area with mostly fast food restaurants, Ruby Tuesday, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. Right next door is a movie theater. The staff is always very accommodating and has taken care of any issues I have had. The only issue with the hotel I have is the walls are a bit thin, so if you have someone talking on the phone, you can hear them. If you are looking for a hotel in the area, don't hesitate to stay here. « less
